This Warsaw flat, designed by Klaudia of KLU STUDIO, hides a unique story. The designer had lived here before the renovation, which meant that she had a special bond with the space. Although the interior needed extensive renovation, it had something cosy and full of potential.
A space with soul – a metamorphosis of a flat from KLU STUDIO
After the renovation, the flat gained a completely new character. The former kitchen was transformed into a separate room and a functional kitchenette appeared in the living room. Only the bedroom remained in its original location. In order to lighten and open up the corridor, it was decided to partially remove the wall separating it from the living area.
A flat from KLU STUDIO – respect for the original
The authentic parquet floor was retained in the design, which was renovated and became one of the decorations of the interior. The kitchen cabinetry was made by a proven carpenter, and the common theme of the entire space is geometric forms. Squares appear both on the fridge casing and in the mosaic, while a circular mirror has been integrated into the fronts of the upper cabinets. Delicate sconces from @embassy_interiors provide an elegant accent, reminiscent of jewellery.
Stylish relaxation area
The living area is a harmonious composition of different elements. The focal point is the purple second-hand sofa, which adds character to the interior. The whole is complemented by subtle tables from @perlerdesign and a rug from @tapisatelier, creating a space that is friendly for both relaxation and everyday functioning.
The bedroom – subtlety and colour
The bedroom relies on soft lines and subtle contrasts. The rounded ceiling was clearly marked with colour, adding depth to the interior. The blue wardrobe with its stylish handles by @embassy_interiors catches the eye. The atmospheric ambience is completed by the Meos lamp, a second-circuit model that fits perfectly with the principles of sustainable design.
Small but functional bathroom
Although the bathroom does not impress by its size, it surprises with its variety of forms and finishes. Several types of tiles and micro-cement were used, creating an interesting juxtaposition of textures. The bathtub has been replaced by a shower, which contributes to the ergonomics and comfort of use. Despite the limited space, every element has its place here.
A flat from KLU STUDIO – design with heart
This intimate flat is an example of thoughtful design, where aesthetics combine with functionality. The design by KLU STUDIO shows that even in a small space it is possible to create a harmonious, stylish interior full of personality.
