Domek w Ostrowitem

A cottage in Ostrowite. It is beautiful, original and ecological!

The cottage in Ostrowitem is an example of modern holiday architecture that combines minimalist form and maximum comfort. The property was built on a picturesque plot of land with a significant slope, with direct access to the lake, making it a unique place to relax and unwind.

Cottage in Ostrowitem – a coherentbody made of composite board

The project is characterised by a simple, minimalist body. The use of a homogeneous material – composite board – made it possible to achieve a uniform visual effect, as it covers both the roof and the walls. As a result, the Cottage in Ostrowitem looks coherent and elegant.

The architects interpreted the development conditions, which required a pitched roof but did not impose the direction of the main ridge. This paved the way for the creation of an original form, further emphasised by the characteristic ‘slit’ in the body of the building, accentuating the entrance area and the functional layout of the interior.

L-shaped layout – view of the lake from everywhere

The L-shaped floor plan of the building has been planned so that residents can enjoy views of the lake from both the living area and the bedrooms. This solution maximises contact with nature while providing a sense of privacy and comfort.

An interior for comfortable relaxation

The cottage in Ostrowitem houses a spacious living area with a kitchenette, a comfortable bedroom, two smaller rooms, a bathroom and technical rooms. As a result, it meets all the requirements that a modern recreational building should offer.

CLT technology – ecology and durability

The structure of the building, above the foundations, was made of cross-laminated timber (CLT). This innovative technology guarantees high strength and durability and at the same time fits in with ecological building trends. This solution makes it possible to combine modern design with care for the environment.

The cottage in Ostrowitem combines minimalist aesthetics, a functional interior and innovative construction technology. The picturesque location by the lake makes it a place created for relaxing in harmony with nature.
