This 72-square-metre flat in Rzeszów, designed by Kinga Bizon of Studio Sień, is an example of an interior where a consistent use of materials and the interplay of light and shadow create an atmosphere of calm, everyday luxury. The design was created for a young owner accustomed to the standards of the finest hotels. She wanted a space that does not flaunt opulence, but provides comfort, tranquillity and a sense of complete control over the interior’s ambience.
A dark, elegant colour palette forms the basis. Graphite-coloured built-in units and deep wood panelling create a sense of stability whilst emphasising the precision of the detail. These are paired with a light-coloured floor and a white ceiling, which reflects the southern light streaming in through the large windows. As a result, the flat retains its airiness, even though it is dominated by intense, saturated tones. The view of the Wisłok River becomes a natural extension of the interior – a calm, ever-changing backdrop that harmonises with its subdued colour scheme.
Although the rooms remain in the locations envisaged by the developer, their functionality has been completely redesigned. The layout has been tailored to the comfort and fluidity of everyday activities. The fittings guide the user intuitively, and the proportions of the individual zones have been refined so that nothing feels overwhelming or dominant. This is an interior that works through cohesion, rather than individual interventions.

Light plays a key role. The lighting system allows for the creation of various scenes – from bright, functional daytime settings to atmospheric evening settings conducive to relaxation. Each of these configurations alters the character of the space, emphasising its material depth and the soft transitions between zones.
The bathroom has been treated as a private relaxation zone. Discreet lighting, carefully selected materials and music flowing from speakers concealed in the ceiling create a space that allows you to shut out the hustle and bustle and indulge in a home spa. It is a place designed not only for use, but for regeneration.
The luxury in this flat does not stem from ostentation. It is the result of harmonious proportions, a careful selection of materials and the magic of light, which together create an atmosphere of tranquillity. It is an interior that does not impose itself through its form, but gives the impression that every element has been thought through to ensure a comfortable lifestyle.
