A flat in Warsaw’s 19th District. It’s a unique space

In the centre of Warsaw, in the 19th District, an apartment has been created for a client who was looking for a refined, elegant space that would fully meet her everyday needs. The design, created by FUGA Interior Architecture, focuses on the quality of materials, functionality and a subtle, contemporary aesthetic, resulting in a flat with a distinctive, individual character.

Open-plan living area

The most important part of the flat is the open-plan living area, designed with gatherings, shared dinners and long evenings spent with loved ones in mind. The living room flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dining area, creating a relaxed space, full of light and urban energy. This is where the owner’s daily life is centred – in a place that encourages both relaxation and socialising. The true heart of life.

A separate private area

The private area has been designed to ensure a complete sense of comfort and intimacy. The bedroom, with its own walk-in wardrobe and private bathroom fitted with a freestanding bath, creates an intimate retreat, offering the chance to feel as though you’re in a home spa. The boundary between the private and living areas is marked by ornate glass doors – an elegant touch that maintains the lightness of the design whilst emphasising the functional division of the flat.

At the opposite end of the flat is a study, which can also serve as a guest room as required. This layout helps maintain a balance between work and private life, which was one of the key design principles for the client, who leads a dynamic lifestyle.

Contemporary accents

The interior design is based on classic, timeless materials: natural stone, refined textures and a calm colour palette. However, the design has been enhanced with vibrant accents in shades of orange – these introduce freshness, lightness and a striking touch that gives the interior its own unique character. This deliberate choice highlights the owner’s personality and gives the flat a contemporary, vibrant dynamism.
