In the heart of Poznań, an apartment with a red piano was created, which impresses with its uniqueness and bold interior design from the very first glance. It is a project by MO Architekci, which is the essence of artistic freedom and creative imagination. The owners of the apartment – musicians and art enthusiasts – were open to unconventional and bold solutions from the very beginning, which allowed them to create a space where functionality meets expression.
The heart of the flat is a red piano.
The focal point and dominant feature of the flat is a red piano, which is not only an instrument but also a sculptural decorative element. The flat with the red piano is a space for meetings, rest and creative expression – a stage and a home in one. The contrast between the red of the piano and the saturated tones of the walls creates a dynamic dialogue with the entire interior design. It is an element that gives the space a distinctive character and emphasises the individuality of the owners.
A kitchen in the style of artistic bohemia
The kitchen has been designed with harmony of styles in mind, with a distinctive detail in the form of a chequerboard floor, evoking the spirit of artistic cafés. This element not only adds a graphic accent to the interior, but also emphasises the rhythm and dynamics of the room. It is a place where functionality meets artistic freedom.

The flat with the red piano – harmony of form and imagination
The colour scheme and style of the interior is a bold mix of styles – sculptural forms, art deco inspirations, pop art elements and modern carpentry create a coherent yet dynamic whole. Strong contrasts and surprising colour combinations bring energy and life to the interior. The flat with a red piano is a space where every element – from shape to colour – has been carefully thought out to emphasise the artistic identity of its residents.
A bedroom with a private passageway and a tribute to Mucha
The bedroom has a private passageway leading to the bathroom and dressing room, which allows for intimacy and aesthetic continuity of the interior. The wall is decorated with wallpaper featuring a reproduction of a work by Alphonse Mucha, a tribute to the owner’s favourite artist and a personal touch with symbolic meaning. It is a subtle but meaningful reference to art that completes the space.
A thoughtful composition and individual character
The flat with the red piano does not follow trends – it is an interior that builds its own bold and emotional narrative. The MO Architekci design is a thoughtful composition of forms, colours and textures, where each element has its own meaning and place. Custom-made paintings add a personal touch to the space, making it not only a place to live, but also a story about the owners and their relationship with the world.
About the studio:
MO Architekci – MO Architekci is a design studio from Poznań, which provides services in Greater Poland and throughout the country. Driven by a passion for creating and arranging spaces, the studio was founded by certified interior designers Magdalena Statnik and Oskar Włodarek, graduates of the University of Arts in Poznań. It is impossible to design according to a fixed pattern, because everyone has completely different needs and requires an individual approach and space design. According to the architects, the design of an interior, flat or commercial space must respond to the needs of its users so that they can feel comfortable in it later on. All of the studio’s projects are complemented by the satisfaction of its clients, who are aware that a well-designed interior affects their quality of life. The MO Architekci design studio in Poznań offers professional expertise in the creation and decoration of usable space. The result of such cooperation will be the realisation of a dream, timeless and ergonomic interior that will be in line with the client’s taste.

Don’t be fooled by the editor’s profile photo. No one has hacked our website! The LEGO brand encouraged us to celebrate Children’s Day in a unique way. We changed our editors’ profile photos, which took us back to the blissful days of childhood 😊. Another interesting feature is the desktop cursor, which has been transformed into a LEGO brick for a few days. This version of the website will remain with us until 1 June. This year, to celebrate Children’s Day, the LEGO brand has prepared a special campaign with the Slowhop platform, filling 21 homes across Poland with LEGO sets and giving those interested the opportunity to spend the weekend there with creative fun. We wrote more about this campaignHEREandHERE.
PS. And if you are looking for ideas for LEGO sets for creative play, check out our suggestions HERE. These are great gift ideas, not only for Children’s Day!
