A house by the river in Greater Poland has been built in a picturesque setting. Close to a high escarpment, a modern house will be built that will blend harmoniously into the natural environment. Its location among lush trees on the banks of a river will make it a part of the surrounding nature, while creating a dream place to live and relax for its owners.
Symbiosis with nature
The basic idea behind the design is to open up the house to the picturesque views and rich nature. The facades of the building will be made of materials inspired by the colours of the earth, giving it a unique atmosphere and making it blend effectively with its surroundings. Natural exotic wood, as the main material, will fill the zones of individual roof terraces and prominent overhangs of the mass. This solution will not only enrich the aesthetics of the building, but will also emphasise its ecological character.
A space for relaxation
The house has been designed as an oasis of calm and relaxation. The interior will include a private spa area with a leisure pool, providing the perfect place to unwind after a long day. The beautiful living area, open with views of the river and the property, will create an atmosphere where residents can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature every day. Large glazings will provide excellent interior lighting and a sense of closeness to nature.
Functionality and comfort
The functionality of the space is a key element of the project. Residents will have spacious lobbies and a well-lit staircase that leads between floors. In addition, the project provides for a passenger lift, which will certainly increase the comfort of living, especially for people with limited mobility.
Landscaping
The surroundings of the house have been carefully designed to relate to the organic shapes around it. A key element of the overall design will be the viewing path, which will allow residents to discover the beauty of the natural areas. It is worth noting the gazebo, which is integrated into a high slope and will serve as a lookout point. This solution will enable residents to enjoy the views and moments spent in the fresh air, observing wildlife.
Green architecture: innovative solutions
The design of the riverside house relies on eco-friendly solutions and modern technologies to minimise environmental impact. In an era of climate change and growing environmental awareness, it is an excellent example of a sustainable approach to architecture. Renewable energy sources such as solar panels and a heat pump have been used. Photovoltaics installed on the roof will allow the production of electricity, which will contribute to a significant reduction in the building’s running costs. The ground-source heat pump, on the other hand, will enable geothermal energy to be harnessed, providing efficient heating and cooling of the interiors throughout the year.
The River House in Wielkopolska is an example of architecture that combines modernity with ecological solutions, creating a space that weaves together comfort and harmony with nature. It is a place that will become a real oasis for its inhabitants, encouraging them to live in harmony with the surrounding world.
