VEIM studio, founded by Monika Pyszczyńska, is responsible for the interior design of the building. The single-family house is located near Bydgoszcz. It is a 210-square-metre space where functionality and aesthetics combine to meet the needs of the inhabitants.
The process of designing the interior started already at the stage of architectural work on the functional layout of the building. The designer’s involvement at such an early stage enabled significant changes to be made to the original plan, which significantly improved the comfort of the individual rooms. The modified layout of the interiors ensured a better interpenetration of spaces and made it possible to adapt the house to the individual needs of the occupants in the best possible way.
The heart of the building is the spacious living room with its large windows. What impresses here is the room’s height of six metres. Here, there is a dining area with an open kitchen, which is conducive to spending time together and integrating the household members. Relaxing in the living room is enhanced by the views. Large glass windows frame the green images and let in natural light. An interesting feature is the small wine cellar designed under the stairs, which adds a unique character to the interior.
The residents’ private area is located on the first floor. A master bedroom with dressing room and bathroom, children’s rooms and an additional bathroom have been created there.
The design of the entire interior was based on classic elements such as stucco and earthy colours, which helped to breathe timeless elegance into the space. The décor is enlivened by the blue colour, which became the leitmotif for three rooms: the dressing room next to the vestibule, the kitchen and the bathroom next to the master bedroom.
The interior of the house corresponds to its exterior. The designer was involved in the design of the façade, including the front door, which helped to create a coherent aesthetic concept for the building both inside and out.
Thanks to a flexible approach to interior design, it was possible to create a space that not only meets all the expectations of the residents, but also impresses with its coherence and aesthetics.The use of high-quality materials, modern technological solutions and refined details makes the house near Bydgoszcz an ideal place to live, combining functionality with elegance,’ Monika Pyszczyńska concludes.
