Once again, the First District has responded to the needs of residents longing for genuine neighbourly relations. The neighbourhood picnic, which has been organised by the developer for the past five years, has become a fixture in the calendar of the local community.
“We wanted to create a housing estate where ‘community’ and ‘neighbourhood’ are not just advertising slogans,” emphasises Adam Urbański, Sales Director. “ The popularity of Neighbour Day proves that we have succeeded.” That is what we are most proud of.
From the outset, representatives of Pierwsza Dzielnica set out to create a space where interpersonal relationships could flourish, with the architecture playing a supporting role. After all, a good neighbourhood is an essential component of general well-being – daily encounters, conversations and relationships make a home and a housing estate more than just an address on a city map.
Pierwsza Dzielnica is a place where a world of relationships is cultivated, where – despite its central location – time passes more slowly and there is always a moment for a chat. This atmosphere has been created by deliberately providing opportunities for people to meet: the well-thought-out architecture of the Medusa Group project, enhanced by carefully designed communal areas, and intergenerational initiatives that bring residents together. Cechownia, an architectural studio managed by Dr Aleksandra Grzonka, is responsible for the design of the show flats.
One such initiative is Neighbour Day, which took place for the fifth time this year. The event is hugely popular, which is hardly surprising given the wealth of attractions: activities for children were organised for residents, along with test drives of the Gazda Group’s flagship Land Rover models and a food court where visitors could sample products from local businesses, including the now iconic Katowice-style ribs from the Prodiż x Żebrownia restaurant.
Although the fifth edition of the event is now behind us, Pierwsza Dzielnica is a place where Neighbour’s Day lasts all year round.
