Elegant, modern and refined in every detail – this is how the Warsaw flat designed for a single person who values quality, order and conscious design presents itself. It is a space where warm browns, beiges and off-white create a harmonious base, and black adds expressiveness. The whole is well thought-out, functional and very personal, without ostentation, but with a clear sense of style.
Originally, the property was an investment and was finished in a budget-friendly manner. The change of use led to a decision to raise the standard, which resulted in the use of high-quality materials and a carefully planned arrangement. From the outset, the young owner knew that he wanted an elegant interior in line with current trends. Hence the warm earthy palette, delicate contrasts and soft, rounded forms that give the space a modern character.
A fluid space
The living area is open plan – the kitchen flows seamlessly into the living room and dining room. The focal point is the island, which serves as a place for a quick breakfast, working on a laptop and intimate gatherings. In the living room, low TV cabinets, a comfortable sofa and a designer armchair create a cosy relaxation corner. An open bookcase subtly separates the individual parts of the living area, displaying books and decorations without restricting the space.
The design is based on modern minimalism warmed up with timeless accents. Simple lines are combined with soft forms – a rounded kitchen island, round tables and upholstered furniture. The interplay of textures plays an important role: smooth, matt fronts complement the grooves of the island and vertical slats in the TV area. These elements introduce subtle dynamics without excessive ornamentation.
The materials were selected with durability and elegance in mind: natural wood laid in a French herringbone pattern, stone on the countertops, matt varnishes in shades of beige, furniture boards in a deep walnut colour, large-format stoneware tiles and soft fabrics with a noticeable texture.
Private area: a cosy retreat with a dressing room
The private area continues the aesthetics of the living area, creating an atmospheric and refined space. The bedroom with an adjoining wardrobe resembles a hotel suite – dark wood, soft fabrics and subdued lighting create a calm atmosphere. Simple furniture forms are combined with upholstered surfaces and subtle curves on the walls.

The most striking element is the tall, upholstered headboard with vertical panels. Its structure harmonises beautifully with the linear lighting hidden in the ceiling, creating a delicate glow. The bed is integrated into the carpentry, and the hanging bedside tables add lightness and make it easier to keep things tidy.
The bedroom is separated from the wardrobe by a fluted glass wall, which marks the boundary without closing off the space. The dressing room itself has a boutique feel thanks to the illuminated interiors of the wardrobes, which also help to maintain visual order. In the background, there is a view of the bathroom with an illuminated mirror, which reinforces the impression of a coherent, luxurious sequence of rooms.
Bathrooms: elegance in two versions
The bathroom adjacent to the bedroom is a natural extension of the private part of the flat. It is accessed through full-height sliding doors, finished with a graphite mirror on the wardrobe side. The strongest accent is the grooved front of the cabinet under the washbasin – a motif repeated throughout the flat. The light stone countertop contrasts with the dark cabinets, and the anthracite-finished fittings emphasise the masculine character of the interior. The transparent shower enclosure organises the composition, and the illuminated mirror with a rounded bottom adds softness.
The second bathroom, intended for guests and everyday use, maintains stylistic consistency with the rest of the flat. The washing machine is hidden under the countertop, keeping the laundry area discreet. The wide countertop made of light-coloured conglomerate brings order to the space, and the under-counter sink reinforces the minimalist character.
