A Ukrainian designer has designed an apartment in Konstancin-Jeziorna. The result?

In Konstancin-Jeziorna, there is an apartment designed by Olga Gryban. It is an original space that fully meets the requirements of the owner, who leads a busy lifestyle and appreciates distinctive objects, great food and rare finds from his travels.

The flat is located on the third floor of an intimate, neoclassical building with only six units. Their small number ensures privacy, and tall windows open the interior onto a green courtyard. It is this setting that became the backdrop for the project, whose ambition was to match the standards of the best boutique hotels.

Hedonism in earth tones

Olga Gryban built her concept on deep, natural colours that give the flat an intimate, contemporary character. Dark green, khaki, black and muted blues dominate here – present in both the furniture and the finishes of the walls, floors and built-in furniture. Lighter accents appear only in artistic details, which reinforces the impression of consistency.

The kitchen is decorated in almost black tones, and individually designed bentwood furniture gives the whole a distinctive identity. Natural materials – oak flooring, Spanish marble, veneer with a distinctive pattern and brass – create a composition that is not subject to seasonal trends. As the designer emphasises, she wanted each element to remain relevant even in a dozen or so years.

Craftsmanship that builds atmosphere

There are no random solutions in this flat. The carpets were made to order, the furniture was made according to original designs, and the cabinet handles were sourced at European auctions. One of the most distinctive elements is the stucco ceiling rosette. The designer could not find a contractor in Poland who would undertake the realisation of her sketch, so she commissioned craftsmen from Ukraine. The element was divided into parts to facilitate transport, and the designer herself transported the decoration from Kyiv to Warsaw. This attention to detail best reflects the philosophy of the entire project.

A space refined without compromise

The developer’s original layout required only subtle adjustments – the entrance to the main bathroom was moved to create a private apartment for the owner, and the utility room was incorporated into the plan so that it remained invisible. Thanks to the investor’s complete trust, the project was implemented exactly as the concept envisaged: from the first sketch to the last detail.

The result of the designer’s work is an apartment that not only provides comfort and cosiness, but also reflects the owner’s lifestyle. It is a space where an evening spent at home can be more tempting than going out to a restaurant or club – a place created for rest, celebrating everyday life and enjoying surroundings that have been refined in every detail. See for yourselves!
