Ambient in the heart of Warsaw. The Instalacje.Art gardens at the Ujazdowski Castle invite you to relax for free this Sunday during the 19th Warsaw Ambient Salon.
on 31 August, the 19th Warsaw Ambient Salon will take place – a unique, open-air edition of a series that has been teaching us to listen differently for years. This time the event will take place at the Instalacje.art space in Ujazdowski Castle, and participants will be able to listen to the music and relax in the gardens surrounding this unusual location.
Sounds will fill the space thanks to the FOMO mobile stage, an unusual container designed specifically for music and to reach areas that are beyond the main attention of the independent electronic scene. This innovative solution is part of the international IMMERSIONS network, co-created by Electrum Up To Date Festival from Bialystok with partners from Portugal and Lithuania. The audience will be able to listen, walk around, lie in the grass – simply allow themselves a moment of timelessness. Entry is free – just come, stop and open yourself to the sound.
AMBIENT IN THE HEART OF WARSAW – JOIN US
Three unique personalities will meet on stage:
- Waclaw Zimpel – clarinetist and sound explorer whose music can be both minimalist and disturbingly deep,
- Jędrzej Dondziło aka Dtekk – creator and curator of the Ambient Salons, who has been taking care of this unusual cycle for years.
- Eta Hox – a young artist whose work attracts with its freshness and subtlety, and at the same time heralds a new chapter of the Polish ambient scene.
Ambient is music that creates space – instead of following a melody or rhythm, it allows us to immerse ourselves in mood, atmosphere and soundscapes. As Brian Eno, a pioneer of the genre, said, ambient is meant to be “as easy to ignore as it is immersive”. It can be background, but if you listen deeper – it opens up new worlds to the listener.
At the beginning of September, ambient will soar even higher – literally. This is when the Fourth Flying Ambient Lounge will take place, a charity event created in conjunction with the Strategic and Title Partner of this year’s festival – Electrum.
The Flying Ambient Lounge is an innovative project not only on a national, but also on an international scale. A balloon basket, donors, an experienced pilot and live performing artists – SWADA & NICZOS – will soar over the Narew floodplains in September.

This year, funds are once again being raised for Family Children’s Homes from Relatives to give the little ones and their carers a better life and a safe home. The drop launched on 18 July – there are more than a dozen bricks, artist gifts and opportunities to support the initiative.
