NOM studio has designed an 80-square-metre flat next to a park in Wrocław. Its main strengths are a well-thought-out layout, a calm colour palette and bespoke furniture. The three-room flat was designed with everyday comfort in mind. Here, every piece of furniture has been tailored to the residents’ needs and the specific character of the interior.
Monika Ledzion of NOM studio based her design on subtle beiges, natural wood and touches of green. Custom-made joinery by WZÓR woodwork also played a key role. Thanks to these elements, the apartment’s full potential has been realised. The parquet flooring, laid in a classic herringbone pattern and surrounded by a black border, also catches the eye. This detail evokes associations with traditional floors full of timeless elegance.
The kitchen has been treated as a natural extension of the living room. The bespoke fitted units make use of the available space from floor to ceiling, and the centrepiece of the composition is an island equipped with seating. The light colour scheme, carefully refined details and understated form give this part of the flat a sense of lightness. It also features a bookcase positioned behind the table, whose form may be reminiscent of the old sideboards we know from our family homes. This iconic piece of furniture has been reinterpreted here in a more contemporary way.

An interesting feature in Monika Lendzion’s design is the wall in the hallway covered in green wallpaper. Hidden behind it is an invisible entrance to the bathroom. The olive shade echoes the building’s park-like surroundings and brings a touch of that natural charm into the interior. It is precisely such subtle details that make the entire design unique. The bathroom, in turn, is dominated by warm beiges paired with gold accents.
