The interior was designed by Joanna Chwil of the Komplementi studio. The apartment in Jelitkowo, Gdańsk, is one of the most meticulously crafted projects in the luxury property sector in this part of Poland. The interior combines bold design, fine materials and an intimate location surrounded by greenery.
It is no great feat to create a premium-standard apartment. The real art lies in creating a space that becomes an experience – intense and built on emotion. “If one can speak of an ultra-luxury segment in the Tri-City, this apartment is undoubtedly at the very forefront of it,” says Natalia Małycha-Zimnol, Senior Property Advisor at MO Real Estate. – There are interiors that make an impression. And there are those that stay in the memory for a long time, because they evoke emotion even before you notice the details. This apartment belongs to the latter category. It is a conscious, expressive space, refined with exceptional consistency, where interior architecture meets the art of living – she adds.
This is not just a property, but an architectural composition refined in every detail and consistent, created from the inspiration and needs of an investor who is discerning, demanding and values quality and unconventional solutions. “From the outset, the design was never meant to be neutral. This interior is bold, expressive and built on the tension between materials,” adds Joanna Chwil, MSc Eng. Arch., from Komplementi.
From the moment you step inside, it is clear that this is no ordinary project. The interior makes an immediate impression with its scale, coherence and bold decisions. Over time, however, you discover something more. Further layers of this project are revealed in the materials, the precision of the craftsmanship, and the way light plays on the textures.

We were invited to the flat by Natalia Małycha-Zimnol from MO Real Estate.
The 80 m² property is situated on the second floor of the best-located building in the intimate Gaja Park estate. From the very threshold, one’s attention is drawn to the excellent sense of proportion. The space has been designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind. The living area forms the impressive heart of the flat. The living room, furnished with a sofa and armchair by Baxter, features a wooden floor made of Mafi panels and is complemented by electric curtain rails. The whole is finished off with carefully selected details such as Flos lighting, Font Barcelona switches and Kocia sculptures. An eye-catching Bomma pendant light hangs above the kitchen island, whilst the walls are clad in natural Italian Marmullo plaster and chiselled wooden panelling. The space flows seamlessly into the kitchen, fitted with SieMatic units. The storage systems and display cabinets are by Rimadesio, and the whole is complemented by Poltrona Frau bar stools and Tom Dixon chairs, creating a cohesive and elegant composition. The private area has been designed as a zone of tranquillity and comfort. The bedroom features textile wallpaper, with a B&B Italia bed as its focal point. The adjoining Rimadesio walk-in wardrobe and Shinal silk rugs emphasise the luxurious character of the interior. The bathroom features an Antoniolupi bath and washbasin, paired with Sodai porcelain stoneware.

It is a space that works like a fine whisky – deep, enveloping and full of character. Material plays a key role here. The backlit quartzite in the kitchen draws the eye and sets the mood, whilst the granite island lends the whole a sculptural form. Natural marble is paired with striking porcelain tiles featuring an abstract pattern, whilst the walls are finished with textured plaster and wood with a distinct grain. Large glazed areas open the interior up to the greenery of the mature trees. Light penetrates through the layers of materials, bringing out their texture – says Natalia Małycha-Zimnol of MO Real Estate.

The colour scheme was designed not as a backdrop, but as an integral part of the narrative. It is a warm, rich palette based on browns, caramel and reds, offset by burgundy, brick, black and graphite. There are no random contrasts here. It is a play of tones and textures – adds Joanna Chwil, MSc Eng. Arch., from Komplementi
The flat is situated within the Gaja Park development, located in one of the most intimate parts of Gdańsk – Jelitkowo. This place combines a seaside character with exceptional natural surroundings. “The immediate vicinity of Jelitkowski Park, the proximity to the beach and access to walking areas and cycle routes create an ideal space for both living and relaxation,” says Natalia Małycha-Zimnol of MO Real Estate.
