Some interiors are simply created – others are born out of history. This flat is precisely the latter category: a place that not only impresses aesthetically, but above all tells the story of its owner’s personality. The architects decided to create a space that is a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city – subtle yet full of meaning and visual accents, like an art gallery in which every corner has its own story.
Bright background and rhythm of natural materials
The basis of the composition is smooth white walls, which optically enlarge the space and allow light to wander freely through the interior. The central part of the living room is a TV wall finished with natural oak veneer with vertical grain and perforated inserts. This treatment not only warms the interior, but also introduces a subtle rhythm and texture.
The floor is covered with a classic herringbone pattern of natural wood in a honey shade. This timeless pattern ties the entire design together, adding a cosy and elegant touch.
Furniture: harmony of contrasts
In the lounge area, the armchairs in black and white pepito catch the eye, bringing energy and graphic contrast to the interior. Next to them is a pouf in a light, soft fabric, which softens the whole composition and balances the strong patterns.
The coffee table with its shiny cobalt top and cylindrical base acts as a contemporary sculpture – it is the one that marks the centre of the composition and gives the space an artistic touch.
Lighting and details: a play of light and emotion
The interior is enlivened by a pendant lamp made of transparent glass discs, creating a light, almost ethereal atmosphere. In addition, the floor lamp with its brass base and white lampshade introduces a subtle touch of elegance.
An abstract painting in reds and blues hangs on the wall, reinforcing the colour rhythm of the entire design and completing its artistic dimension.
Tranquillity and expression in one
The strength of this design lies in the skilful combination of natural, warm materials with bold, contemporary accents. Wood and stone bring calm and comfort, while vibrant colours, contrasting fabrics and art add individuality to the interior.
The result? A flat that simultaneously calms and inspires. It is a place where minimalist geometry meets expressive forms, and harmony coexists with boldness.
The bedroom – a quiet tale of design
In the private area of the house, the designers opted for tranquillity and intimacy without sacrificing artistic expression. The bedroom shows that design can be quiet and expressive at the same time – a refuge where the rhythm of colours and textures harmonises with the need to relax.
This flat is more than a well-designed interior. It is a personal story written in material, colour and light – a space where modern design meets emotion and authenticity.
