The Pompidou Centre and the Samsung Art Store are joining forces to make 25 outstanding works from the Paris museum’s collection available to art lovers around the world. While the institution will remain closed for a five-year renovation, this project becomes a unique opportunity to interact with works by masters of modernism and the avant-garde. From November, the collection spanning more than a century of creative innovation – from Brancusi to Pollock – will be available on Samsung Art TV screens.
Highlights from the Pompidou Centre include Frida Kahlo’s The Frame (1938), Wassily Kandinsky’s Get-Rot-Blau (1925), Piet Mondrian’s New York City (1942) and Henri Matisse’s La Tristesse du Roi (1952), as well as works by Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Yves Klein and Peter Doig. The collection covers more than 100 years of art history, reflecting the Pompidou’s role as a living archive of the modern art world.
– ‘ The Pompidou Centre has always stood at the intersection of art and innovation,’ said Gaële de Medeiros, Head of International and Economic Development at the Pompidou Centre. ‘Thanks to this collaboration, our collection will continue to be viewed, shared and admired. Even if our physical space is transformed.

This collaboration underlines the Samsung brand’s commitment to making world-class artworks available beyond the walls of museums. Through unique technology, users can turn their screens into digital canvases, creating their own galleries in their homes.
– ‘Art does not lose its power of impact when the gallery or museum doors close, but now finds new ways to reach out,’ commented Daria Greene, Head of Content & Curation at Samsung. – ‘With The Frame TVs, these works can cross physical boundaries, encouraging people to interact with contemporary art in their everyday lives too.
The Pompidou Centre collection joins a growing community of museums partnering with the Samsung Art Store that includes The Met, Tate, MoMA and Musée d’Orsay, among others.
Exclusive works of art on TV screens
The Samsung Art Store is available on several models in Samsung’s 2025 TV range, making art created by leading artists and collected in museums and galleries now available ‘at the beck and call’ to almost any beauty lover. These models include The Frame and The Frame Pro – TVs that have been repeatedly awarded for their special qualities in visualising works of art.
Samsung’s The Frame Pro is the most advanced of these TVs, featuring a brilliant Neo QLED screen with brighter colours, sharper contrast and deeper blacks. The wireless One Connect Module makes installation easy, allowing you to move the cables up to 9 metres away from the TV, so you can fully enjoy the picture in an environment worthy of the art gallery name. What’s more, the screen is matt and coated with anti-reflective coating, making the images look lifelike. What’s more, the look of the TV can be perfectly matched to any interior décor by selecting the size and style of the picture frame.
This year, Samsung has also expanded its range of TVs sharing the Art Store to include the Neo QLED Mini LED 8K, Neo QLED Mini LED 4K and QLED series, providing users with even more opportunities to enjoy art in the comfort of their own four corners.
