Sir James Dyson podczas Dyson Unveiled w Berlinie

11 new products from Dyson

This is the evening that fans of the Dyson brand have been waiting a long time for. Thursday 4 September saw the official launch of the brand’s latest products in Berlin. The event was hosted by Sir James Dyson, the brand’s founder, who arrived on site in a vintage Mini car – a model he has been fascinated with since its launch in 1959. It was its innovative design that encouraged James Dyson to experiment with technology, the results of which we can still see today.

Early on in the meeting, unveiling the new PencilVac hoover, Sir James Dyson emphasised that the company has always redefined the product format through design, cutting-edge technology and research. “Over the years we have rethought the product format through design, technology and cutting edge research. The development of new technologies for motors, heaters, separation systems and aerodynamics has allowed us to radically change the format of the appliances while still ensuring high performance. We have invented the cyclonic hoover with no loss of suction power, the high speed motor, the cordless upright hoover, robotic vision navigation, the bladeless fan, the Airblade hand dryer and the Supersonic ultra-fast digital hair dryer. Today we are introducing the new formats along with the redesigned Dyson products.”

The world’s thinnest hoover, the Dyson PencilVac, at just 38mm in diameter, glides effortlessly over any surface – along, across and under low furniture. Powered by a Hyperdymium motor, it combines suction power, dual green laser light and app connectivity in a thin package. The new in-line dust separation system allows it to hold five times more dirt than its capacity, and the hygienic injectable dust ejection system cleans the bin and cover in one movement. Four conical electric brushes, driven by two dual-drive motors, remove hair and threads and reach the very edges of the surface.

The next model unveiled, the Dyson V8 Cyclone, is an evolution of the V8 hoover from 2016. With 30 per cent more suction power (150 watts), 50 per cent longer run time (up to 60 minutes) and a replaceable battery, it has become even more efficient in the fight against dirt. A new triggerless power button and three cleaning modes – Eco, Medium and Boost – give users full control over power and run time. From 2026, an optional self-emptying docking station will free up the need to manually empty the bin. “Our lightweight and highly manoeuvrable design has changed the way we vacuum and has – as usual – been copied by most of our competitors. We have therefore developed a new generation of our popular format, implementing our latest technology, including a docking station with a self-emptying function. This is now the Dyson V8 Cyclone,” said the company’s founder.

The Dyson V16 Piston Animal is a hoover designed for complex home cleaning. Powered by a 900W Hyperdymium motor, it achieves 315W of suction power without any drop in performance. The All Floor Cones Sense power brush automatically adjusts power and speed to the type of floor, while the patented conical brushes prevent hair tangles by ejecting them directly into the container. The CleanCompactor compresses dust collected within 30 days and the self-cleaning compression lever makes emptying easy. In 2026, this model will also gain a self-emptying station. Submarine 2.0 technology enables wet and dry cleaning with a motor-driven microfibre roller with precise water metering. “The Dyson V16 Piston Animal hoover is powered by our Hyperdymium motor with the highest power factor. It is the first model to feature Dynamic Cyclones technology, which involves engaging five additional cyclones in boost mode for extra suction power. The improved electric brush intelligently detects the type of floor, automatically adjusting the suction power and speed. The vacuum picks up dirt and mops floors without spreading dirt, and also removes spills from hard floors,” Dyson stressed.

Wet and dry cleaning

The latest Dyson Clean Wash Hygiene electric mop redefines wet and dry cleaning of hard floors. The filter-free system traps dirt and debris in the head, preventing build-up in pipes and odours. The ultra-absorbent roller with 84,000 microfibres per cm², supported by nylon bristles, removes even the toughest stains and the self-cleaning function keeps the roller in impeccable condition. The lightweight design weighs just 3.7 kg and slides effortlessly under furniture. “The most striking feature of a floor cleaned with this device is the absence of streaks and the beautiful shine, as the roller is constantly cleaned with clean water with each rotation. Other wet cleaners use unhygienic filters that trap bacteria, become clogged, reducing suction power, can emit an unpleasant odour and are very difficult to clean. Our new Dyson Clean Wash Hygiene wet and dry electric mop has no filter and traps all dirty water and debris in the cleaning head, so it doesn’t circulate inside the machine, settle in pipes and hoses or clog dirty filters. The ultra-absorbent roller is 30 per cent more densely packed with microfibres than previous solutions and has built-in nylon bristles to help remove stains. As a result, the electric mop provides hygienic, fast-drying and streak-free cleaning every time.” – Dyson added.

Dyson Spot Scrub Ai

The Dyson Spot Scrub Ai cleaning robot is the first device to combine wet cleaning with intelligent stain detection. Using an AI camera, green LED lighting and navigation, it recognises almost 200 types of obstacles, such as cables or socks lying on the floor, and avoids them precisely as it works. The advanced system compares the image before and after cleaning until the dirt is completely removed. the 12-point roller humidification system and bagless emptying station guarantee hygiene and powerful suction.

Clean air in the home

The Dyson HushJet Purifier Compact is the next addition to the purifier range. With its HushJet nozzle and Air Multiplier technology, it delivers high performance with minimal noise: 44 dB at full flow and just 24 dB in night mode.

The Dyson Cool CF1 features an intelligently redesigned bladeless fan – energy efficient, controlled by the MyDyson app, with night mode, LCD screen and precise oscillation settings. The new brushless DC motor provides clean, cool air tailored to individual needs.

The Dyson Hot Cool HF1 Remote Link Pre-Heat fan is the fastest and quietest 2-in-1 in the Dyson range. With a built-in temperature sensor, it heats rooms faster and runs 25 per cent quieter than previous models. As the company’s first mains-powered fan heater, it can be remotely controlled from the MyDyson app, maintaining your preferred temperature day and night.

The Dyson Supersonic r hair dryer has gained a smaller and lighter body, and with a laminar flow heater and smart RFID sensor attachments, it precisely regulates temperature and airflow. The instant cooling of the heater helps to fix your hairstyle, and with a compact 38mm diameter, professional results can now be achieved in the comfort of your own home.

The Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x Multi-styler features the Hyperdymium 2 motor, which generates twice the air pressure for heat-free hair styling. The 6-in-1 versatility allows you to blow dry, curl, wave, straighten, smooth and volumise while keeping your hair healthy.
