Bandit is not another brand of wine. It’s an approach. A reaction to how natural wine has managed to become detached from the people it was meant to be for. Instead of openness – snobbery. Instead of busyness – calculation. This is far from us. We want different.
That’s why we created Bandit Wines.
Three buddies – a sommelier, a lawyer and a gastronome. Each of us brings something different, but we have the same thing in common: a love of wine, of relationships and of doing things our own way.
We operate grassroots and boutique.
Not by catalogue, but by meeting. of our producers . We talked, got to know their places and their way of thinking. Not by chance – our partner is a native Hungarian, so we end up with people no one else would talk to. And you can feel that in the wine. As a result, our labels are not anonymous. There is a person behind every bottle.
Natural selection
We have a selection of wines from Hungary, Slovakia – often wines that are not on the Polish market. We are going to Moldova soon. We like bottles with character: natural, low intervention, sometimes wild, always honest and sincere. They don’t have to have fancy labels, they have to have taste and tell their own stories. We want to disenchant natural wine. To show that it doesn’t have to cost a lot of money or require knowledge of oenology to be appreciated.
Where to find Bandit Wines?
We don’t have a premises – yet.
But we do pop-ups. In places that have a vibe. For us, wine is not a product, but a tool to meet, to talk, to be together.
This is just the beginning.
We already know that Bandit is not a seasonal rip-off.
It’s a project with a mission. And with an ambition to open our own bar. But on our terms.
