Beautiful interior in Gdansk with references to the coastal landscape.

Letnica, one of the dynamically developing districts of Gdansk, is characterised by its modern architecture, proximity to the sea and proximity to green areas. It is in this location that a unique flat was created, which was designed by Anna Lange, founder of Lā studio. The Gdańsk interior combines modernity with subtle references to the seaside landscape.

The main inspirations for the interior were natural materials and subtle colour accents that bring warmth to the space. The design is dominated by light wood tones, which give the interior a cosy feel, and muted earth colours, creating a calm, soothing atmosphere.

The living space has been planned in an open and functional way, with a clear division into four zones: kitchen, dining room, reading room and living room. The kitchen combines functionality with aesthetics – natural wood cabinet fronts blend with matt sandstone countertops, while anthracite accents bring elegance to create a timeless design. The workspace blends seamlessly with the rest of the living area. A wooden table by Kravi Design and comfortable chairs from Tricity-based designers Tamo invite you to enjoy a meal together.

Next to the kitchen is a reading corner – a comfortable armchair, a bookshelf and subtle lighting create an atmosphere conducive to relaxation. The living room is a space full of comfort, with soft fabrics and natural colours dominating.

The first bathroom was designed with relaxation in mind, being a real oasis of calm. The focal point is the elegant bathtub, surrounded by micro-cement walls that give the interior a minimalist feel. Wooden built-ins for storage introduce warmth, while black accessories, such as the washbasin cabinet and stool, create a striking contrast, adding a modern and elegant touch. The bathroom has been designed to create a space for relaxation, being both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

The second bathroom is full of tranquillity thanks to the shades of beige, which blend perfectly with the wooden accents, introducing a subtle warmth. The three-dimensional stoneware tiles on the walls, suitably lit, add depth and a unique 3D effect to the space. The use of natural materials emphasises the atmosphere of a luxury spa, creating the ideal conditions for relaxation.

An interesting design element is the blue ceiling in the corridor, which subtly alludes to the proximity of the sea. This unusual detail adds depth and dynamism to the space, reinforcing the coastal character of the flat. The ceiling colour is like a gentle reminder of the nearby waves of the Baltic, creating a coherent whole with the rest of the design.

The bedroom has been designed to separate the work area from the leisure space, providing comfort for both relaxation and concentration. The dedicated work area features a desk that can be hidden behind wardrobe fronts, making the space more conducive to relaxation after working hours. The second zone is dominated by natural materials – wood and fabrics that create a cosy atmosphere. Subtle shades of beige, grey and white bring harmony and tranquillity, encouraging complete regeneration.

The design of this interior was created with the functionality, aesthetics and comfort of the contemporary residents in mind. The result is a space that combines modernity with cosiness, offering ideal living conditions in the heart of the Gdańsk seaside district.
