Calisia townhouses in Kalisz. Modern flats in an elegant style

The complex of residential buildings was designed by architects from the EASST studio. The Calisia townhouses will be built in Kalisz at 20A Złota Street, at the intersection of Wojska Polskiego Avenue and Piskorzewie Street. They are a total of three high-quality buildings whose facades will be varied to form an attractive element of the urban fabric.

The buildings will be constructed in close proximity to the historic part of the city. The future residents will be just a few minutes’ walk from the city’s Planets and the Main Square. Nearby, there is the City Park and the Prosna River. The railway station, on the other hand, is only 3 km away. At the same time, Wojska Polskiego Avenue, which runs alongside it, will enable quick travel between the northern and southern parts of the city.

The realisation of the investment is divided into several stages. Building A, which will contain 38 flats, will be built first. The investor, the SOVO Development company, has prepared units of varying sizes. The smallest will be about 27 square metres, while the largest flats will be over 100 square metres. A two-storey flat has been designed for the most demanding.

In addition, the ground floor of Building A provides space for a service outlet, for example a café or a restaurant. Residents will also have access to storerooms and parking spaces for cars in the underground hall.

An asset of the investment are the private gardens that will be available to owners of ground floor flats. This is a sizable space, which is an extension of the living room area, and when properly arranged will allow for pleasant spending of free time outdoors. The gardens are approximately 45 square metres and easily allow for the creation of a comfortable terrace or setting up a small vegetable garden with herbs. The flats on the upper floors, on the other hand, will have spacious balconies and loggias.

The buildings are characterised by high-quality architecture. The designers from the EASST studio have emphasised the uniqueness of the investment by creating a volume with varied facades. The division into different finishing materials is a loose reference to traditional tenement buildings. Minimalist plasterwork has been divided here by segments, which are finished in dark brick.

The minimalist feature is also emphasised by the horizontal divisions in the façades and the balconies. The balconies are arranged asymmetrically, adding variety to the development. The high quality of the space is also evidenced by the design of the common areas. One example is the lobby, which is decorated with wooden cladding and greenery in pots. A green patio with alleys, benches and a playground has also been arranged for all residents.
