“CAMINO A ESPAÑA” – this is the title of this year’s edition of the “SPAIN IS IN” event, which will once again make its home in Warsaw on 11 June 2025. It is an invitation to a creative journey towards Spanish aesthetics, innovative design and a unique approach to architecture. Thanks to the Spanish Embassy and the OKK! PR agency, the capital of Poland will once again become a space for a meeting with what is most inspiring in Spanish design.
Spain is not only the homeland of Gaudi, white Andalusian towns and Mediterranean culture, but also a country that sets trends in contemporary design and architecture. It is a unique combination of deep-rooted tradition with a modern approach to form and function. Design from the Iberian Peninsula is characterised by a bold use of colour, light and natural materials, which gives spaces warmth and emphasises authenticity. “CAMINO A ESPAÑA” is an invitation to a personal and professional expedition to better understand the essence of Spanish design thought.
The second in the series “SPAIN IS IN”, the meeting will take place at the Crowne Plaza Warsaw Hotel – The HUB (2 Rondo Daszyńskiego St., Warsaw) and will last from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This time, the organisers will put the theme by Romana Tryc: “CAMINO A ESPAÑA” will take all gathered guests on a metaphorical journey through the richness of the country’s architecture, design and modern design solutions.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the Spanish approach to architecture, design and international cooperation – both through inspiring talks and direct meetings with brands from Spain.
The event’s special guest will be Fernando Menis – one of Europe’s most renowned architects, creator of Magma Art & Congress, the Insular Athletics Stadium and the floating swimming pool on the Spree River in Berlin, among others. In Poland, he is best known as the author of the design for the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Centre in Toruń. Menis is a visionary of public architecture and an academic professor.
During the panel discussion entitled ‘Designing in Spain through the eyes of Polish architects – contexts, regulations, challenges’, interior designers Katarzyna Kraszewska, Monika Bronikowska (Hola Design) and Małgorzata Liebhart (WZ Studio) will share their experiences. The experts will talk about the practical aspects of designing abroad, cultural differences and the realities of working with Spanish partners. The entire event will be hosted by Olga Kisiel-Konopka and Kuba Szczęsny.
The showroom space will showcase the most interesting brands from Spain that inspire architects and designers around the world. Exhibitors will include: Adex, Espattio, Ramon Soler, Jiso Iluminación, LZF Lamps, Ecocero, Punt Mobles, Vertisol, Viccarbe, Alvic and Kontakt Simon.
The content part of the event will be followed by a cocktail party, during which the invited guests will have the opportunity to talk and exchange experiences.
Participation in the event is free of charge and aimed exclusively at architects and interior designers. We encourage you to register in advance, as the number of places is limited. SPAIN IS IN – CAMINO A ESPAÑA’ is organised by the Spanish Embassy in Warsaw with the support of OKK! PR AGENCY.
