At this year’s Salone del Mobile, the Polish cooker hood manufacturer Ciarko Design will be showcasing its products in Milan in a unique setting, highlighting both its technological ambitions and design maturity. The centrepiece of the company’s presence will be a stand created in collaboration with Noke Architects. It is a carefully designed space that redefines the way kitchen appliances are presented.
The Polish company, based in Sanok, has accustomed us to attractive stand designs, whether at the Milan fair or industry events in Poland. They achieve this effect by inviting the best architectural studios to collaborate with them. This approach also symbolises the brand’s philosophy, which creates its cooker hoods in partnership with leading names in the world of industrial design. The result of this openness to talented and creative designers will be what Ciarko presents in Milan.
The Noke Architects team is responsible for the design of the Ciarko zone at the Salone del Mobile. It will serve as an example of the development of an idea previously presented at Warsaw Home. The central theme is steam – a fleeting, dynamic phenomenon that is difficult to capture. For Ciarko’s engineers, this is a daily technological challenge; for designers, it is an inspiration to create an installation that allows visitors to see the processes taking place in the kitchen. At the centre of the stand are transparent modules suspended above the display island. Inside them, swirling smoke and steam form a shifting, pulsating movement, illustrating the flow of air. This is not a decorative effect, but a visual representation of how the hood works – the precise channelling of air that remains hidden in everyday use.

The stand’s architecture was based on the reuse of modules from the previous edition, emphasising a conscious and responsible approach to design. The space has been divided into two complementary worlds. The Light Zone, in a cashmere colour scheme, introduces laboratory-like clarity. White cooker hood models will showcase their proportions and structural precision here, highlighted by lighting that emphasises their silhouettes. The Burgundy Zone will function quite differently – intense, deep colours will create an atmosphere focused on the product’s strength and its impact on the character of the interior. Both sections are united by the consistent use of light and divisions drawn from the brand’s design language, ensuring the stand becomes a natural extension of its aesthetic. A horizontal lighting installation closing off the space will emphasise technological precision, whilst the central smoke feature will serve as a reminder of Ciarko’s core value: the pursuit of purity of form and control over the ephemeral.

The Milan presentation also marks a strategic moment for the Ciarko Group. The company has announced the launch of a new sub-brand, MONNO, created within Ciarko Design. This is a response to growing opportunities for international expansion and the need to scale up operations. MONNO does not replace the existing brand – it complements it, strengthening the potential of the entire ecosystem and opening the way to new market segments. Ciarko Design remains the foundation of the business, retaining its identity and existing business relationships.
During Milan Design Week 2026, Ciarko Design will also present four new cooker hood models: two slanted models and two integrated with an induction hob. The design is the work of the nicer.design duo – Mikołaj Nicer and Michał Maciukiewicz. The new collection combines striking form with functionality. The slanted models become an architectural element that organises the kitchen space, whilst the variants integrated with the hob offer minimalist solutions that only activate when in use, remaining almost invisible when at rest. These are proposals that underline the brand’s direction of development: technology and aesthetics are to coexist harmoniously, creating a coherent whole.
The Noke Architects x Ciarko Design stand in Milan is an expression of the ambition of Polish design and craftsmanship, which is making its presence felt with increasing confidence on the international stage. This year, Ciarko demonstrates that innovation can become the language of architecture, and a precisely designed exhibition – a tool for telling the story of the future of the kitchen without resorting to unnecessary metaphors. It heralds a phase in which the Polish brand is consistently building its global position, without compromising on the quality and clarity that define its DNA.
