Colours and Polish design. Here is a 90-square-metre interior by Studio Faro.

Studio Faro designed a 90-square-metre flat in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, where colour and functionality create a friendly space for living and working. The interior is used by a young couple who work remotely. Their home is bright and colourful, and the design is based on a combination of natural shades with bold accents. The project focuses on Polish design and solutions that promote everyday comfort.

The designers have created an interior where light and colour play a key role, giving each room its own unique character. Warm wood tones are combined here with delicate pastels and stronger colours that add energy while maintaining harmony. The furniture and fittings come from domestic manufacturers such as Karlik, Ummo, plener.co, Desiva, Tubądzin, Radaway, Terma and Omnires. Studio Faro has created an arrangement in which modernity meets a touch of vintage and the simplicity of Scandinavian style.

The living area includes a kitchen, dining room and lounge. The kitchen features pistachio green fronts combined with warm wood. The cabinets were designed without traditional upper cabinets. The focal point is a rounded peninsula with a grooved casing, which conceals additional storage space. Rhythmic divisions emphasise the original character of this interior, and a decorative lamp with a soft form is suspended above the worktop.

In the living room, a subdued beige corduroy sofa contrasts with intense colour accents. An orange coffee table and an indigo TV cabinet add a burst of energy to this interior, breaking up its calm tone. The dining area features a wooden round table surrounded by red chairs, above which a lamp in the same colour has been hung. The originality of the design is complemented by the owners’ personal items, including a red vintage lamp, collectible LEGO models and a limited edition IKEA table.

The bathrooms also feature bold colours. The first bathroom features muted turquoise in several shades, from light tiles to darker furniture fronts and mirror frames. The second bathroom is decorated in emerald green with gold accents. The shiny details of the fittings and mirror frames elegantly complement the glazed tiles in the shower area. Another significant accent is the glass orange door to the hallway and the staircase balustrade in the same shade. The couple’s bedroom is an oasis of wood and soothing colours, conducive to rest after an eventful day.
