Colours and Polish design. Here is a 90-square-metre interior from Studio Faro

Studio Faro designed a 90-square-metre flat in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, where colour and functionality create a welcoming space for living and working. The interior serves a young couple working remotely. His home is bright and full of colour, and the arrangement is based on the juxtaposition of natural shades with distinctive accents. The design focuses on Polish design and solutions that promote everyday comfort.

The designers created an interior where light and colour play a key role, giving each room its own very individual character. Warm wood tones are juxtaposed here with soft pastels and stronger colours, which add energy while maintaining harmony. The furniture and fittings come from domestic manufacturers such as Karlik, Artera, Ummo, plener.co, Desiva, Tubądzin, Radaway, Terma and Omnires. Studio Faro has created an arrangement where modernity meets a touch of vintage and the simplicity of Scandinavian style.

The living area includes the kitchen, dining room and living room. The kitchen uses pistachio green fronts combined with warm wood. The cabinetry was designed without traditional upper cabinets. The focal point is a rounded peninsula with a fluted surround that conceals additional storage space. The rhythmic divisions emphasise the original tone of this interior, and an additional decorative lamp of soft form is suspended above the worktop.

In the living room, a muted beige sofa with a corduroy texture contrasts with accents in intense colours. An orange coffee table and an indigo-coloured RTV cabinet give the interior an “injection” of energy, which breaks up its calm tone. The dining area features a round wooden table surrounded by red chairs, above which a lamp in the same colour is suspended. The originality of the design is complemented by the owners’ personal items, including a red vintage lamp, collectible LEGO models and a limited edition IKEA table.

The bathrooms also opted for striking colours. The first features a muted turquoise in several shades, from light tiles to darker furniture fronts and mirror frames. The second bathroom, on the other hand, is in emerald green with gold accents. The shiny details of the fittings and the mirror frame create an elegant complement to the glazed tiles in the shower area. Another significant accent is the glazed orange door to the hallway and the staircase balustrade in the same shade. The couple’s bedroom is an oasis of wood and calming colours that promote relaxation after an eventful day.
