The Concept_11 showroom was designed using the original solutions of Monika Goszcz-Kłos of GoszczDesign. The resulting place is a space where design and art intermingle with culinary or artistic experiences.
The space, designed with attention to every detail according to the original solutions of Monika Goszcz-Kłos, creative director of GoszczDesign, enriches the Old Town with modern forms of art and design. The selective objects available at Concept_11 include luxury and niche designs, while the interiors combine a showroom with an art gallery, presenting contemporary works by artists and unique furniture and utilitarian objects.
The showroom will feature objects from both Polish creators and international brands. Hasik Design specialises in unique designs from the natural materials of stone, wood and patina. Lui&Clay. Monika Dąbrowska – Picewicz, Wolno Ceramika, MONO Ceramic Studio offer modern ceramics, while Szymon Keller is known for his organic forms. Steel Wave, as the name suggests, has become famous for its industrial metal furniture, and Mati Sipiora opts for a bold approach to design.
Foreign brands will include Noom, known for its futuristic design, and Italian brand LaCividina, which offers a range of luxury furniture. Belgium’s Serax supplies modern accessories and lighting, while Culti Milano, which specialises in diffusers, adds a sophisticated fragrance to interiors. The interiors will also feature furniture by Kasanai, modern lighting by Lambert & Fils, and bathrooms by Rex Design. The aesthetic value is complemented by Gaggenau appliances highlighting the uniqueness of the kitchen made by the Polish company ZAJC. in cooperation with B.W. Wiśniewscy
The concept’s interiors create a harmonious fusion of art and design, while blurring the boundaries between showroom and art gallery. Temporary exhibitions showcasing the work of contemporary artists are intertwined here with collections of unique furniture and everyday objects that combine craftsmanship with modern forms. From the beginning, large works on the walls – Paul Bik ‘s Reliefs – have belonged to the venue.
Artistic selection by Magda Bodis
The close connection to art will be evident in the selection of artists and their works that will grace the interiors of C_11. Magda Bodis, a member of the board of the Association of Friends of the National Museum in Warsaw and director of the Society of Friends of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, is curating the artistic part. Her many years of experience in working with cultural institutions and organising auctions, art fairs and festivals translates into a sophisticated and fresh perspective on contemporary art. Magda will be responsible for the selection of artists whose works will not only decorate the space, but will also be for purchase.
The first artist selected by Magda will be Adrian Kolerski – a visual artist working at the intersection of painting, object and installation. A graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. His works have been presented at numerous solo and group exhibitions in Poland and Europe. The issue around which his works concentrate is the polarisation of reality. He shows the relationship between the material world and images, memories, ideas and dreams. The artist uses various means of creative expression. Blurring the boundaries between media, he produces works of a hybrid nature, taking the form of image-objects. The works seem to be constantly subjected to processes of transformation and change of form – they melt together, freeze in deformed forms, delaminate and compress or expand again.
A space that lives
Concept_11 is also an open space for events – workshops, intimate vernissages and business, cultural and artistic meetings. The showroom was created for people looking for original spaces. It provides the perfect platform for both social and professional meetings. The programme includes artistic and culinary events as well as exhibition and event space.
A novelty will be the combination of visual art and culinary. The kitchen of the Polish company ZAJC, which is an integral part of the showroom, will become a space for limited culinary performances for guests. The unique atmosphere of the C_11 space and events will be added by specially prepared music, for which Aleks Poniedzielski of Aftersunday Music is responsible. The place affects all the senses. The distinctive fragrance will be taken care of by the Culti Milano brand creating products with unique fragrant compositions built on exclusive ingredients.
Concept_11 brings a Western approach to creative spaces, responding to the growing need for places that offer unique experiences….
