‘CREATIVITY’. Premiere of the 25th issue of whiteMAD magazine

Creativity like oxygen is essential in every field of human activity. It drives us to action, thanks to it we admire, we use it. In this issue, we pay special attention to the creativity of Polish designers and architects, showcasing the talents inherent in them.

You will find out about creativity in fashion by browsing the pages of this section. We show there a daring collection designed by Oktawia Watras, a graduate of the University of Arts in Poznań. Designer Michał Wójciak reminds us of the problem of excessive consumerism in fashion in a photographic story about the irrepressible hunger for fashion. On the other hand, designer Michał Szulc, who used small pieces of leather to create a new collection, convinces us of the possibility of creative use of potential waste.

When looking for topics for the ‘Architecture’ section, we browsed through several hundred new projects by Polish designers. We want to show realisations with timeless aesthetics that are resistant to passing trends. We recommend a small and beautiful interior by Studio Inne, realised in Wrocław. We take a look at a holiday red house designed by Aleksandra Hyz. We also show the conversion of an old house that PL.architekci architects created for themselves. It is hard to believe that they managed to create a big-city villa out of a modest building.

A real explosion of creativity can be found in the “Design” section. This is an overview of large and small forms, which are distinguished by their original design. In this section you will also find contributions from artists who talk about creativity in their work.

And finally, there is ‘Portfolio’. Here we recommend an interview with Krystian Ścigalski, known as WhyDuck. However, there are many more creative topics! May this 25th anniversary issue of whiteMAD magazine provide you with enjoyable moments and a source of inspiration. And how!

You can order the issue with delivery to a parcel machine or your home in the shop on our website whitemad.co.uk.
