DIORIVIERA – a Mediterranean dream captured in Jonathan Anderson’s new collection

Jonathan Anderson has breathed new life into the Dioriviera collection, introducing colourful designs imbued with a fresh, joyful energy.

The ready-to-wear collection delights with patterns inspired by the richness of the plant world. The Dior Arabesque motif offers a new interpretation of the work of Christian Bérard – a versatile artist and one of the fashion house founder’s closest friends. The pattern depicts lush, almost fairy-tale-like nature, whilst the classic toile de jouy motif takes on a new, floral twist. Maintaining a light, summery aesthetic, the men’s collection combines light, airy shirts with casual shorts. The range also features striped tops, swimwear and Dior Médaillon belts, complemented by bucket hats and silk scarves – all imbued with a sense of lightness and Mediterranean charm.

The same spirit permeates the accessories. The iconic Dior Book Tote bag appears in a new version crafted from terry cloth, which emphasises its soft, modern silhouette. Other iconic models from the fashion house, such as the Lady Dior and Dior Blooming, are also given a fresh interpretation in a minimalist, organic spirit. New versions of the Dior Medaillon and Dior Woven mules continue this aesthetic, introducing a subtle interplay of weaves.

The men’s collection features the Dior Chester range – from loafers to boat shoes – in a relaxed, slightly vintage style, whilst the Dior Rivage sandals catch the eye with their intense, vibrant colour palette. The Dior Oblique motif appears in many forms, from denim to Sun Stripes, adorning both the Dior Saltwind trainers and the Dior Jett bag.

The collection is complemented by Dior Hortensia jewellery, celebrating a flower particularly dear to Christian Dior’s heart. Necklaces, rings and earrings adorned with crystals take on fruity forms, evoking a lush garden. Bag accessories lend the collection a sense of lightness and a carefree spirit – among them are medallion-shaped pendants with miniature mirrors and sewing accessories, such as tape measures and thimbles, reminiscent of mouth-watering ice-cream desserts.

The collection is rounded off by the Dior Maison line, drawing inspiration from Christian Dior’s passion for nature and art. Tableware, accessories, garden furniture and unique objects embody the art of living, paying homage to sunny days.

The collection is available at selected resorts and pop-up boutiques – from Cipriani to Mykonos, from Bodrum to Saint-Tropez. It is a luminous journey celebrating the timeless elegance of the House of Dior.
