Woodeco invites architects, designers, contractors and students to participate in a unique event that has become firmly established in the calendar of the interior design industry. After three extremely successful editions, which were met with great interest from the design community, Woodeco is organising the Interior of the Year competition for the fourth time. Applications have just started!
The Interior of the Year competition is an initiative dedicated to both interior design professionals and debuting talents who want to present their ideas based on Woodeco’s collections and products, including the latest instalment of the Mood Stories 2025-2028 collection or Deep Matt products. The new edition of the competition, is a unique opportunity to present your projects, gain recognition from experts and join the group of ambassadors of one of the largest manufacturers of wood-based materials in Poland. The competition runs from 17 November 2025 to 15 March 2026, so there is plenty of time to prepare and submit your project.
What does the competition task look like?
The competition task involves submitting an object realization or visualisation using various Woodeco products. Competition categories include, but are not limited to:
- Private interiors: kitchens, bedrooms, children’s rooms, living rooms,
- Public interiors: schools, offices, clinics, restaurants, hotels,
- Special categories, i.e. interiors using fireproof board, Deep Matt products or IMO HPL laminates.
In addition, this year’s edition features a category dedicated to interiors with the use of a half-couch by Lenart, a partner of the competition.
What can be won?
The organisers have prepared an impressive prize pool, totalling more than PLN 60 000, as well as promotional and image packages for the best projects:
- First place – PLN 15,000 and the title of Mood Stories Collection Ambassador
- Second place – PLN 10,000 and the title of an ambassador of the Mood Stories collection
- Third place – PLN 8,000 and the title of an ambassador of Mood Stories collection
- Distinctions in each category – PLN 5,000 each
- Special Young Designer award – PLN 2,000
- Distinction from Lenart Meble company – PLN 5,000
The winners will also receive media support as part of the MarkaPRO and MarkaStart packages, including an image session, participation in workshops on the use of AI in a designer’s work or the opportunity to present a portfolio on the WoodLove.to platform, and many other additional attractive prizes.

Expert jury and renowned patronage
The projects will be assessed by a jury of eminent industry personalities. The jury will include Kamil Białas (editor-in-chief of WhiteMad), Magdalena Skibka- Matusiak (communication expert for brands in the interior design and architecture industry), Szymon Hanczar (designer and lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław), Ewa Dyda-Nowakowska (interior designer and educator), Katarzyna Księżopolska (editor-in-chief of Magazif.com), Michał Piernikowski (Director of Łódź Design Festival), representatives of the competition’s partner, i.e. Kamil Lenart (CEO and co-owner of the Lenart Meble brand), Mateusz Bartkowiak (Marketing and PR Manager at CAD Projekt K&A) and representatives of the Woodeco brand. The winner of the previous edition, Martyna Jaworska from the Ma.Sphera studio, will also speak. The media patronage is held by the most prestigious Polish interior design publications.
The Interiors of the Year competition is not only a financial reward or an opportunity to develop and promote one’s own brand extensively, but above all an event that brings together designers from all over Poland and promotes modern, functional and ecological solutions in line with Woodeco values. Thanks to the complementary nature of the offer, participants can choose from a full spectrum of materials: laminated boards, kitchen worktops, HPL, HDF, as well as specialised boards for contract interiors.
