Fear of God Essentials and Eastpak have joined forces to create a capsule collection of bags and rucksacks, in which a minimalist aesthetic meets the functionality and expertise of one of the most recognisable accessory brands. The collaboration draws on the distinctive styles of both brands, combining Fear of God Essentials’ contemporary approach with Eastpak’s classic silhouettes.
The collection takes Eastpak’s classic designs as its starting point, which have been given new proportions and finishes by Fear of God. The result is a fusion of the practicality associated with Eastpak’s iconic models and the understated, contemporary aesthetic of the American brand.
The collection comprises four styles available in two core colours – Cement and Off-Black. All are crafted from lightweight nylon, with designs based on simple proportions and functional details. The designs have been conceived with everyday use in mind – from city outings to short trips.
Among the models is The ESSENTIALS Backpack – a rucksack inspired by Eastpak’s signature design, which stands out thanks to its oversized, hood-like rain cover. The model has a capacity of 27 litres and measures 48.5 × 31 × 20.5 cm.
The ESSENTIAL Shell Bag, meanwhile, draws inspiration from the archive Fear of God Essentials Shell model. Made from lightweight nylon, the bag retains the structural form of its leather original. It is fitted with a shoulder strap, a two-way zip and an integrated zipped pocket. It has a capacity of 20 litres and measures 34 × 77 × 16 cm.
The larger version is The ESSENTIALS Shell Bag Large. This model offers a capacity of 74 litres, whilst retaining its distinctive, structured shape. Its dimensions are 52 × 105 × 37 cm.
The collection is rounded off by The ESSENTIALS Duffel – a bag inspired by Eastpak’s military heritage and the brand’s sports models. Its functional character is combined with the minimalist approach of Fear of God Essentials. The bag has a capacity of 47 litres and measures 60 × 32 × 25 cm.
