It is an alternative to jewellery made of metal. The Pink Powder studio in Łódź creates necklaces, rings and bracelets using wood. A recent photo shoot shows that geometric ornaments made from a natural material can be very attractive.
The author of the photo session is Kinga Klimczak. The photographer showed the Pink Powder jewellery in unusual situations. The collection itself is made of hornbeam wood. Its nobility and delicacy were juxtaposed by the photographer with expressive motifs.
Hornbeam is a very strong wood, difficult to split and resistant to external factors. In the past, such wood was used to make shuttles in weaving machines and for mill wheels. Precisely because of its durability. Today, hornbeam wood components are used for piano parts, pianos or drumsticks.
The colourful jewellery collection also includes items made from acacia wood. The Pink Powder brand wants to expose the beauty of the wood grain in its jewellery. All products are naturally coloured with a water-based stain, so that the jewellery will not fade and will allow you to enjoy the beauty of the colour for a long time.
And how do you perceive Lodz wooden jewellery with a factory soul?
