The Best Diplomas of the UAP – for the 45th time!
The Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań invites you to the 45th edition of the exhibition of the Best Diplomas of the University of Arts in Poznań and the 12th edition of the Competition for the Best Theoretical Work.
This year’s exhibition presents the works of 26 graduates. Diversity of form, spontaneity and mature reflection meet the need for real impact. Art is not detached from reality – it remains rooted in the social, cultural and historical context. It not only interprets the world, but is also capable of revealing hidden relationships, needs and tensions, initiating reflection on change. Many of the projects presented engage in dialogue with everyday life, design, science and public space, emphasising the agency and shared responsibility of creativity in shaping the community.
The slogan for this year’s edition is: COOPERATION.
It is precisely cooperation, dialogue and the combination of different perspectives that are today the key to creating art that not only tells about the world, but also participates in its co-creation. The Best Diplomas Competition fulfils the will of our 1932 graduate, Maria Dokowicz, who established a fund to support the development of young artists.
The 45th Maria Dokowicz Competition for the Best Diploma of the UAP and the 12th Prof. Alicja Kępińska Competition for the Best Theoretical Work will once again be held in the spaces of Stary Browar – in Słodownia.
