The family house near Warsaw was created with comfort and functionality in mind for the whole family. Although the body of the building was classical in character, the idea was to break it down with modern accents and add a romantic element, reflecting the personality of the inhabitants. The result is a harmonious space where elegance meets cosiness and deep colours harmonise with natural wood.
A family home near Warsaw – a subtle palette and golden accents
The interiors are kept in intense but balanced colours. The colours enliven the space without overwhelming it. Gold-tone accessories – such as faucets, lamps and handles – introduce an element of luxury and a subtle flash. Modern interpretations of stone textures appear in many rooms, adding a touch of class and sophistication to the overall look.
Elegant hallway – the showpiece of the home
The entrance area is a bright, cohesive interior, where stones such as Carrara marble, travertine and lava rock reign supreme. Thoughtful details, Venetian glass and a carefully chosen colour scheme make the interior impressive right from the threshold. The black and white mosaic and the wooden elements in the living room area introduce a contrast that creates an impression of modern elegance. The small toilet next to the hall reveals the homeowners’ bold approach to colour – deep navy blue, green and intense fretwork emphasise the individual character of the space.
Living area – the heart of the home
The spacious living room, with its high ceiling and classic stuccowork, is decorated in two tones of wood. It features a rounded fireplace, furniture built-ins designed especially for this interior and an emerald sofa, situated opposite the dining area. A striking wallpaper, full of green tones, provides a backdrop to the large family table, building depth and cosiness.
Kitchen with Italian flair
Just off the living room is a compact kitchen, separated by an island. The pistachio-coloured upper cabinets contrast with the expressive Italian tile in a dynamic pattern. The whole is softened by veneered built-in units and a stone worktop, which together create an elegant, functional space.
Private area on the first floor
A minimalist staircase with a glass balustrade leads to the first floor. This is an area of the house designed for relaxation and privacy. The master bedroom is distinguished by a bed in an intense shade of orange and an asymmetrical, veneered wall panel. A wardrobe is hidden behind a mirrored wall.
The children’s room – a place for creativity
The children’s room was designed with two boys in mind. The multifunctional built-in space is used for them to sleep, play and store. An interestingly resolved window space with a seat and wallpaper on the ceiling add to the fairytale-inspired atmosphere of the interior.
The bathroom – a continuation of the aesthetics of the entire house
The family bathroom combines the materials and colours that run throughout the project. The mosaic in shades of white and green, reflected by the large mirrors, blends in with the natural oak veneer. The result is a fresh, harmonious interior with a pleasant touch of homely warmth.
