Flat in the business heart of Warsaw. An interior with soul!

In the very centre of Warsaw’s Wola district, in a dynamically developing business environment, a flat has been created that offers not only functionality but also a unique atmosphere. Located on Siedmiogrodzka Street, next to The Warsaw Hub complex, it is a harmonious space, a tranquil enclave amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

A flat in the business heart of Warsaw – a project full of balance

The interior design is the responsibility of the designer duo: Maja Zemła and Aleksandra Sieńczewska. Their aim was to create a space that is both practical and atmospheric – suitable for a young person who cares about quick access to work, but also about everyday comfort. The starting point was a standard developer’s layout of a 45-square-metre flat with one bedroom, a bathroom and a living room connected to the kitchen. The end result is an interior full of light and harmony, modern yet cosy.

– We wanted to create a space that was soothing but far from sterile,” explains Maja Zemła. The overall colour palette is neutral: beige, white and warm greys give the interior a soft and cohesive feel.

Well thought-out functionality

Every element of the flat has been carefully planned with everyday comfort in mind. Already at the entrance, the practical furnishings attract attention – a capacious wardrobe, a wardrobe with space for sports accessories and numerous storage compartments cleverly integrated into the space. Ergonomics and well-considered storage became the design foundation.

Light and space – opening up the bedroom to the living room

One of the most important elements of the interior metamorphosis was the removal of the wall separating the bedroom from the living room. It was replaced with a glass door in a natural oak frame. Thanks to this procedure, the space gained lightness and openness, and daylight flows freely through the entire flat, emphasising the subtle lines of the furniture.

Design icons and details with character

The living room features the iconic LCW chair by Charles and Ray Eames, and next to it the sculptural Bold Chair from the Big Game studio. The form and materials were chosen with extreme care, without ostentation but with flair and class.

Custom-made furniture, oak details and individually designed solutions all give the flat a personal touch. Even the radiator has been aesthetically concealed behind a bookcase, emphasising the idea of ‘invisible order’.

The kitchen as the centre of the flat

The kitchen has been designed as an elegant but practical area. The centrepiece is an island made of white MDF, topped with black granite. Above it was a suspended ceiling with a concealed hood, which subtly marks the boundary between the kitchen and living room areas without disturbing the openness of the space.

Consistent aesthetics and practicality

Both the kitchen and the bathroom maintain visual coherence with the rest of the flat. The use of Italian Refin tiles in shades of grey and the geometric forms of the Triangle collection from Vogue provides a subtle but elegant backdrop for everyday activities.

Atmosphere-building light

The lighting has been chosen with exceptional care for the atmosphere of the interior. The point sources of light from AQform and the designer lamp Marset suspended above the table create a cosy and functional aura.

A flat in the business heart of Warsaw – a place with soul

The design of the flat at Siedmiogrodzka proves that it is possible to combine living in the centre of a bustling metropolis with everyday comfort. This space is an example of modern interior design that combines practicality with individual character. Living in the business heart of Warsaw can be not only functional, but also full of personal warmth and tranquillity.
