A unique flat designed by Aleksandra Przybyla of MURU Studio has been created in a new apartment building on Kuflewska Street in Warsaw. The space was created for a couple who value comfort, tranquillity and refined detail. The windows offer an impressive view of the city centre, and the overall design combines naturalness, harmony and cosiness. The main objective of the project was to create a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but above all comfortable for everyday use. – “We wanted a cosy, comfortable living space – with a natural base, consistent colours and refined details,” – emphasises the designer.
MURU Studio and the new functional layout
Already at the concept stage, MURU Studio decided on significant changes with respect to the developer’s design. The kitchen was moved closer to the centre of the flat, and a relaxation area with a view of the Warsaw skyline was created by the window. As a result, the living area became the heart of the interior – open, full of light and seamlessly combining the various functions.
This arrangement made it possible to obtain a space with an ordered rhythm and natural balance. As a result, the interior exudes tranquillity, and every element has its place.
Natural materials and consistent colours
MURU Studio ‘s design is based on natural materials, muted colours and consistent colour combinations. Dark wood with a uniform colouring appears in every room – from the kitchen fittings to the wardrobes and wall panels – giving the interior a warm and elegant feel.
In the kitchen, the Taj Mahal quartzite worktop catches the eye, introducing a subtle, luminous accent. The light, fluted fronts of the upper cabinets visually soften the composition, creating a harmonious whole.
Details that create atmosphere
Soft accents of colour – muted pink, orange and green – appear throughout the flat. These liven up the neutral base, introducing subtle contrasts and emphasising the individual character of the design.
Katy Paty sockets and switches in three colours are an interesting element, which refers to the vintage aesthetic. They bring a touch of nostalgia and warmth to the interior, blending in perfectly with the modern décor.

Two bathrooms in a consistent rhythm
There are two bathrooms in the flat, designed in the same natural tones. Equipe Costa Beige tiles – in smooth and Onda fluted versions – form the base, creating a subtle rhythm and soft light.
The shower area stands out with green Natucer Green tiles, providing a harmonious counterpoint to the wood and stone. A dark countertop and fluted furniture fronts complete the look, emphasising the material consistency of the overall design.
Stylish entrance and attention to detail
The entrance to the flat is finished with Marazzi tiles in a terrazzo pattern, which blend seamlessly with the oak parquet flooring laid in a classic herringbone pattern. This solution adds character to the interior and introduces a subtle play of textures.
The overall design from MURU Studio is based on a consistency of light, proportion and detail. There are no haphazard elements or exaggerated effect – instead, naturalness, elegance and concern for everyday comfort dominate.
MURU Studio – harmony and balanced design
The design of a flat on Kuflewska Street in Warsaw is a perfect example of a style where aesthetic sensibility meets functionality. MURU Studio proves that a modern interior does not have to be cool or sterile – it can be warm, cosy and perfectly thought-out.
It is an interior that does not shout in form, but speaks of harmony, proportion and quality. Subtle, refined and extremely comfortable – these are the signature designs of MURU Studio.
