And this is of great importance in terms of allergies, wellbeing and health. So how can we positively influence air quality at home? Modern technology can help.
Even if we perceive our home or flat as a safe haven, there are numerous invisible pollutants in the air – dust, mites, animal hair and pollen – that can trigger allergic reactions. Prolonged stay in such rooms can be harmful to our health. This is why systematic cleaning with HEPA-filtered devices and air purification is so important. The new face of the mop
Dyson WashG1™ is a high-speed electric mop that effectively removes not only spills and stubborn stains, but also dry debris such as crumbs. It is great for cleaning in the kitchen, for example, but can also be used to clean other rooms. The water tank has a capacity of as much as 1 litre, which makes it possible to clean up to 290 square metres of floor space. What’s more, unlike cleaning a floor with a traditional mop, with the Dyson WashG1™ you clean all the time with clean water. The machine has two separate tanks: for clean water and for dirty water. What else makes this equipment different from the traditional mops we know? It cleans itself. Simply set the unit down on the charging station when you’ve finished cleaning and the automatic self-cleaning cycle will do the rest.
Nothing to hide
Dyson Gen5detect™ is a state-of-the-art cordless hoover with powerful capabilities. With a built-in dust illumination system, Fluffy Optic technology highlights fine dust and dirt that remains invisible at first glance. In this way, they can be easily removed and do not rise into the air. On a single charge, the hoover gives you up to 70 minutes of operation and clean air is provided by a HEPA filter that captures viruses and particles as small as 0.1 micrometres, including allergens. After use, the tank can be emptied easily and hygienically, removing accumulated dust in one smooth motion.
Healthy and clean air
A new air purifier in the brand’s portfolio is the Dyson Purifier Humidify Cool™ PH2 De-NOx. The purifier combines purification, humidification and cooling functions. With a fully sealed, three-stage filtration system based on a HEPA H13 filter and a carbon filter, the unit effectively removes ultra-fine particles – eliminating up to 99.95% of pollutants, allergens and harmful substances, including formaldehyde and nitric oxide (NO₂). Ultraviolet Cleanse technology ensures that the water used for humidification is disinfected, removing 99.9% of bacteria, making the room air not only clean but also safe. The unit features smart sensors to monitor air quality and connectivity to the MyDyson app for remote control. The sleek design is also a plus. Set in a bedroom or living room, the purifier will adorn the interior. The product is recommended by the PTA and has a positive opinion from the Institute of Mother and Child.
Versatile possibilities
The latest device to help keep floors clean and air clean in the home is the Dyson V15s Detect™ Submarine. The name alone suggests that water enters (or influences) the cleanliness game! The special Dyson Submarine power brush is designed for wet cleaning hard floors. With it, you can remove spillages but also more difficult stains. During operation, 18 ml of water is emitted every minute to guarantee effective cleaning. Excess moisture is collected in a special tank. With one filling (300 ml of clean water), an area of up to 110 sq m can be cleaned.
The hoover will appeal to dog or cat owners. The anti-tangle technology prevents hair from settling inside the brush, so cleaning does not involve extra time manually removing the collected hair.
