FRAJDA is located in the heart of Wrocław’s Market Square, in the Sukiennice. The Frajda restaurant-café is a place that encourages unhurried relaxation, chatting with friends and enjoying the unique atmosphere. The author of the interior concept is Kinga Łukaszyńska of re:build studio, while the detailed design was developed by Wojciech Robak of Robak Architekci.
The main idea of the arrangement was to create a space with a casual, almost cinema-like character – a place where one can sit comfortably at one of the tables, whose layout brings the interlocutors closer and emphasises the bustling character of the interior.
The venue is divided into smaller zones: alcoves, window recesses, areas with cinema seating and a large central table for larger groups. The seating areas are arranged at different heights to create intimate corners. Each of these spaces has its own individual character.
Inside, you will find an eye-catching mosaic of simple tiles in several shades, which seemingly haphazardly respond to the need for non-ideal spaces, made up of parts and constantly replenished. Some of the materials are recycled and others were chosen intuitively – they simply caught the eye of the creators and owners who were part of the design team.
At Frajda, you can start your day with a delicious breakfast, enjoy a specialty coffee and relax with a glass of wine in the evening. Designing this space, in keeping with the name of the premises, was pure FRAYDA!
