For years, Gdańskie Nieruchomości has been carrying out extensive modernisation projects aimed at improving the technical condition of council buildings and raising the living standards of residents. One of the most recent undertakings is a comprehensive renovation of the house standing at Dworkowa 7A in the Olszynka district of Gdańsk. This investment is an important element of the programme to revitalise the city’s housing infrastructure and aims not only to improve the comfort of tenants, but also to increase the energy efficiency of the building.
The modernisation of the building includes a number of construction and installation works that will ensure the durability and safety of the structure for years to come. Fundamental changes will affect the heating and insulation system, which will help to reduce heat loss and lower operating costs. Insulation of the façade is planned, as well as upgrades to the plumbing, electrical and heating systems. Improving the building’s damp proofing is also an important part of the project. Dworkowa 7A will undergo extensive renovation work, which also includes refreshing the stairwell and common areas. In addition to the functional aspects, the aesthetics of the building and its surroundings have been taken care of, which will improve the image of the entire neighbourhood. The door and window woodwork will be replaced, and the facades will regain their long-lost splendour.

Particular emphasis has been placed on upgrading the internal installations. As part of the renovation, the electrical, gas, central heating and domestic water installations will be replaced. In addition, modern gas boilers and a ventilation system will be installed, which will significantly improve indoor air quality. The introduction of a photovoltaic system will allow the use of renewable energy sources, which is part of the ecological approach to managing the city’s housing stock. The renovation of the building at 7A Dworkowa Street is an investment of almost PLN 2 million, supported by EU funds. The expected completion date is August 2025. The modernisation is another step by Gdańskie Nieruchomości towards improving the quality of life of the residents and revitalising the urban space.
