The tenement house located at Dolna 10a in the Lower Town will change beyond recognition. This is another investment by Gdańskie Nieruchomości carried out under the Integrated Territorial Investments programme. The tenement house was built in the 1880s. The building is a historical building, entered in the Communal Register of Historical Monuments. After renovation, 10 residential units will be created in it.
The scope of the renovation work includes, among other things: dismantling and demolition work, the execution of micropiling on both sides along the existing external and internal walls at basement level, the execution of conservation, renovation and finishing work on the facade.
The investment will also include repair work on the internal walls, thermal insulation of the foundation walls, conservation and impregnation of the wooden elements of the building. A new roof truss will be laid on the building, damaged and demanding elements of the roof structure and attic ceiling will be replaced, and new ceilings will be built on all floors in the building. There will also be a new roof on the building.

As part of the works in the tenement, the window and door woodwork will be replaced with new woodwork that recreates the original appearance. In addition, shafts, new chimneys and gravity ventilation risers will be made. The scope of the renovation will also include the construction of new reinforced concrete balustrades and the insulation of the building’s internal walls. All residential units will be finished and connected to the new installations.
The renovation started in May 2024. The expected completion date is Q4 2024. The cost of the investment is approximately PLN 6.8 million.
