Geberit bathrooms in the revitalised Palace of the Republic

Since this year, the historic interiors of the revitalised Palace of the Republic in Warsaw have been open to the public for the first time. Not only has the historic building regained its former splendour, but also – thanks to a number of modern solutions – it has become a space that can be used in a comfortable and safe manner. Geberit also made a contribution by fitting the palace toilets.

It was only this year that the Palace of the Republic, one of Warsaw’s most famous and magnificent monuments, became widely accessible – it can now be visited free of charge, 6 days a week. This was possible thanks to the restoration of the baroque interiors and their adaptation to the needs of modern users, including people with disabilities. Conditions were also created to enable the storage of the book collection and, at the same time, to interact with the most valuable exhibits in the National Library’s collection. The revitalisation project was prepared by the Konior Studio architectural studio, while the interior furnishings consisted of high-quality products from well-known brands. These included solutions from Geberit, which were used to furnish the bathrooms at the Palace of the Republic. This created toilets that combine high functionality with aesthetics and stylish design.

In each case, we pay particular attention to the ergonomics, aesthetics and durability of the equipment in the designed spaces. We cooperate with companies that guarantee high quality with their product range and meet the set criteria. Therefore, in such a unique and valuable project as the redevelopment of the Palace of the Republic of Poland, we used proven products and excellent solutions from Geberit,” says Tomasz Konior, owner and chief designer at Konior Studio.
