80-metrowe wnętrze

Harmony of forms and colours. the 80-square-metre interior was created for a couple who appreciate details and art

In Wrocław, in the green district of Borek, a project was created that combines modernity with nature and artistic sensibility. the 80-square-metre interior is the work of Diana Żurek and Gutek Girk of Furora Studio, designed especially for Wojtek and Artur – a couple who were determined to find a space that met their unique needs. “Zdrój” is not just a house, but an oasis full of light, greenery and artistic details, creating a unique combination of modernist form, a note of art déco and inspiration from nature.

80-metre interior – the story of the project

Diana Żurek and Wojtek met a few years ago while performing together on catwalks in Shanghai. It was there that their shared sense of aesthetics was born – a love of the minimalist avant-garde, finding details and creating spaces with soul. Years later, this relationship resulted in the interior design of a 1960s terraced house to meet the owners’ expectations and adapt to their new phase of life.

An interior full of light and character

The aim was a thorough metamorphosis of the interior, which was to become more open and bright while remaining in harmony with the surrounding nature. The glass entrance door opens up a view of the garden, where the newly designed windows resemble a greenhouse filled with tropical plants. The centrally located staircase has become the heart of the house, around which spaces with different functions intermingle.

Design full of contrasts

An eclectic composition of forms, textures and colours gives the interior a unique character. Blues and greens dominate the living spaces, interspersed with botanical motifs and decorative glass. Each room has been given an individual artistic touch – the bathroom features an interpretation of Kandinsky by Bożena Grocholska, while Arthur’s paintings are an emotional complement to the living room. His works combine melancholy with playful abstraction, introducing the viewer to a world of hidden meanings.

1960s house – floor arrangement

The first floor of the house was designed as a quieter and more subdued space. The study combines elegant veneers with natural stone and glass to create a space conducive to concentration. The bedroom, inspired by Japanese woodcuts, exudes delicacy and tranquillity, providing the ideal environment for relaxation.

Bold details in the décor

Wojtek describes the design as ‘a 1970s American luxury hotel with elements of art house and the tropics’. The interior combines bold combinations – from patterned veneers to raw textures to abstract details. Every element of the interior tells a story, reflecting the personalities of the homeowners and their artistic fascinations.
