This summer, a spot appears on the design map that no one expected – but everyone should visit. Between the iconic campsites of Chałupy 6 and Ekolaguna, where the wind mixes the scent of a pine forest with neoprene and salty breeze, the Summer Club hlonda6 has made its home – an ephemeral pop-up in the form of an artistic installation that redefines the concept of a summer concept store.
It looks like a modernist swimming pool, but there is no water inside – there are things. Stylish, bold, chosen with sensitivity. Instead of shop windows – a blue, immersive space designed by Magda Zabierzowska, realised in collaboration with the Tubądzin brand. This is not a shop. It is an aesthetic phenomenon that could be created in Capri or Palm Springs, but is happening here, at the tip of the Hel Peninsula.
Tubądzin – a brand which has been changing Polish interiors through conscious design for years – this time goes into holiday mode. But it does not lose its style. The pop-up space has been finished with tiles from Malwina Konopacka’s upcoming Pastels collection – joyful, graphic, subversive. Smooth denim juxtaposed with lemon grout is reminiscent of childhood ice cream. And the yellow ladder? It’s a nod to Memphis Milano and a smile to Sofia Coppola.

Housed in a converted shipping container, the pop-up impresses with its unusual form and unobvious interior – styled like a modernist swimming pool. Inside: instead of water, a selection from hlonda6 – a concept store known for balancing design, art and fun. From the floors to the furniture, everything has been drowned in a luscious, pure blue and lit up with radiant accents of the colour of the sun. – Everything selected to leave an emotion, a memory and an excuse for a story instead of a seasonal souvenir. For children, adults, aesthetes and light-hearted people.
Summer Club hlonda6 is a boutique that is more lived in than visited. Every detail – from the tiles to the lighting – is designed with the senses in mind, not just function. It is a 3D holiday postcard that you can walk into. A space that doesn’t impose itself, but invites you in – to take a photo, have a conversation, marvel.
At a time when seasonal installations are sometimes just a backdrop for a selfie, this pop-up is more than that. It is a story about a new model of thinking about holiday experiences: instead of plastic – design with character. Instead of banality – things with an idea and a story.
It is also a manifesto of the power of Polish design – fresh, local, conscious. An aesthetic that does not have to be serious to make an impression.
Summer Club hlonda6 runs throughout the summer of 2025 in Chałupy. Check it out before it sails away.
