The PURO Hotel in Łódź opened in 2019. The building, designed by the ASW Architekci studio, blends harmoniously into Łódź’s post-industrial landscape. The interiors were designed by the London-based studio Superfutures, which drew inspiration from Łódź’s avant-garde movement. Geometric lines, fine materials and subtle colour accents create a space that is modern yet rooted in the local context.

PURO Łódź Centrum offers 130 rooms, including 7 suites – ranging from elegant Classic rooms to the spacious Executive Suite – designed with comfort and a high standard of accommodation in mind. Each room features a queen- or king-size bed with Hilding mattresses.

Art from the moment you step inside

In the communal areas and rooms, you’ll find works by Maciej Polak and Illcat, as well as prints inspired by the work of Katarzyna Kobro and Władysław Strzemiński. The presence of art here is not merely an addition, but an element that strongly influences the character of the hotel. The interiors are complemented by furniture from Carl Hansen & Søn, Gubi, Muuto and Fogia, as well as hand-woven Kasthall rugs, which emphasise the attention to quality and detail. In the guest rooms, meanwhile, the walls are adorned with local art – ranging from Tartaruga Studio’s kilims to illustrations by Ola Niepsuj.

Meeting spaces

One of the hotel’s most recognisable spots is the Spirit Bar, situated on the top floor. The terrace, overlooking Poznański Palace and Łódź’s industrial landscape, creates a unique setting both during the day and in the evening. It is a space that naturally attracts guests and locals alike, becoming one of the key venues on the local social scene. The dining options are complemented by the Biotiful café (their breakfasts are well worth trying!) and the Miska restaurant, whose menu is centred on the flavours of Asia.

For body and soul

The hotel features a wellness area. A panoramic view over the city’s rooftops, a dry sauna, a gym equipped with Technogym machinery and a relaxation area create an environment conducive to tranquillity. Beauty treatments at PRISMA Spa (ranging from short sessions to longer massages) encourage guests to rest and rejuvenate.

In keeping with Łódź’s cinematic tradition, the hotel is home to the intimate Cinema Paradiso. PURO also offers modern conference facilities, including the Popcorn room, designed for groups of up to 80 people and equipped with professional multimedia equipment.
