‘idea buildings’. Premiere of an album on the projects and realisations of Robert Konieczny

It will go on sale on 27 November. The book ‘buildings idee’ by Robert Konieczny of KWK Promes is the first Polish edition of a worldwide title in which visionary architect Robert Konieczny talks about his studio’s landmark buildings.

The publication was published by the Pascal publishing house. Inside you can find the best architectural projects and realisations in Poland.

The album “buildings and ideas” by Robert Konieczny presents the history of buildings in an unprecedented way. We will find here a dose of humour, the author’s narrative running underneath the photographs and drawings, which draw you in like a film. The publication was written both for professionals and for people who are just beginning to explore the world of architecture.

In a conversation with Philip Jodidio, the respected American architecture critic, Robert Konieczny discusses in detail the process of creating the most important projects and the ideas that inspired each stage of their creation – from concept to final form.

The ideas expressed by Robert Konieczny are quite radical and surprising. The unexpected forms of his objects are not so much a style as an intellectual construct – Philip Jodidio.

As part of the premiere, a meeting with Robert Konieczny will take place on Wednesday 27 November. A webcast of the event can be followed on Facebook HERE. The album can be ordered at EMPIK.COM HERE.
