In a Scandinavian climate. House in Izabelin near Warsaw

Its design was prepared by architects from FRAMUGA studio. The house in Izabelin is 120 square metres in size, its interior is filled with simple furniture and subdued colours. This combination gives a sense of calm, comfort and relaxation.

The project was realised for a young family who decided to live close to nature. The house was built in Izabelin, close to the forest. When working on the interior design, the FRAMUGA studio team placed emphasis on achieving an effect that would unite all the household members. It had to suit their needs and foster relationships.

The interior has a clear functional division. The ground floor is filled with a large living area with an open kitchen. A dining area was created between the kitchen and the living room. It is filled with a large table ready to accommodate a larger group.

The investors wanted the interior of the house to be filled with blue, so this colour can be found in all rooms.

In order to balance the colour scheme, it was crucial to use a large amount of warm wood, which appears in the furniture, but also in the bookcase and wall cladding. The natural, brushed veneer in person provides a fantastic sensory experience,” describes FRAMUGA studio.

In a space arranged in this way, you can feel the Scandinavian spirit and elements of the japanese style. The interior is filled with simple lines and geometric consistency. The selected furniture and accessories are characterised by a stable, monolithic body and regular form.

The house is filled with furniture from Polish manufacturers such as Take Me Home (chairs and coffee table) or ceramics from NODI studio. A cobalt accent is the auxiliary table from SALAK studio (photo above). Products from the latter brand can be found in the whiteMAD shop by clicking HERE.
