In shades of cobalt. This is how she designed her flat in Krakow!

On the Osiedle Wizjonerów in Krakow there is a flat that clearly shows its character. From the very first glance, you can sense the boldness of the arrangement – every detail of this interior draws your attention, inviting you to discover more colours and forms. This is the space designed for investors by Kasia Krępa who runs the KREPA DESIGN studio.

High doors leading up to the ceiling open up the space and emphasise the scale of the flat. Custom-made wooden built-in units wrap around the interior like an architectural frame, concealing capacious storage space and creating a uniform setting. They direct attention to the key elements: colour and natural light filling the interior.

Kitchen in cobalt blue

The heart of the flat is the kitchen, where the central role is played by an island in an intense cobalt shade. The monumental stone worktop contrasts with the colourful base, adding both raw elegance and the warmth of natural stone to the interior. The space, thus composed, encourages communal moments of cooking and conversation.

The living area is complemented by the living room, which has a calmer, yet still strong colour scheme. The cobalt-coloured RTV harmonises with the wooden furnishings, while the orange lamp provides an unexpected boost of energy. The black sculptural lamp suspended over the table becomes a graphic accent, which appears here as a designer sculpture.

A bedroom like a night sky

The original atmosphere in the bedroom is created by the dark blue ceiling, which flows seamlessly onto the walls like an evening sky. It is an intimate and sensual space, where the burgundy bed headboard adds depth and the beige wall lamps warm the room with soft, cosy light. The space encourages calm and sleep. The perfect space to unwind after a day at work.

The entire space is complemented by posters inspired by Bauhaus aesthetics. Simple lines and geometric shapes bring an intellectual freshness, balancing artistic expression with functionality. This combination of colour boldness, quality of materials and thoughtful details makes the flat pulsate with energy while offering a balanced and harmonious living space.
