Interiors in Gdansk from Lussoo, is a space that the designers created with harmony, soothing the senses and a conscious perception of space in mind. In the realisation by the Lussoo studio, led by Michal Ziuz and Maciej Szalkowski, the space is intended to become a refuge after an intense day – orderly, consistent and full of soft tranquillity.
Japan meets Scandinavia – the foundation of aesthetics
The designer based the concept on Japandi styling with subtle references to minimalism. Wood in warm, natural tones becomes a key accent – warming the interior while highlighting its noble details. The colour scheme based on beige, broken whites, ivory and light greys introduces an atmosphere of calm and balance. This muted landscape features structured plasters, such as Metropolis Senso Silver, which add depth and change with natural light.
Conscious design in every detail
Every element of this realisation is considered here. The designer juxtaposes hand-modelled mass wall structures, a monumental stone bench and delicately hung curtains of natural fabrics. All components complement each other, creating a narrative of light, touch and texture. The interior lives with the rhythm of the day – the light subtly highlights the layers of the composition and builds an aura of intimacy.

A leitmotif that binds the space together
A distinctive detail created from structural mass is repeated in both the living area and the bathroom. It is a consistent element that gives the interior a unique character. It is in such nuances that the strength of contemporary design manifests itself – in the play of light and shadow, in the consistently chosen materials and in the bold simplicity.
Interior as a manifesto of the Lussoo studio philosophy
The realisation reflects the studio’s philosophy – design oriented towards harmony, breath and attentiveness. Michał Ziuzia and Maciej Szałkowski also appear in the photographs documenting the project, becoming not only the authors but also part of the story. This is the story of a space that not only visually delights, but also allows you to really experience peace and immerse yourself in everyday comfort.
