It is ascetic. Holiday flat in Kamień Pomorski

Its design was carried out by architects from the Loft Kolasinski studio. The holiday flat in Kamień Pomorski is an example of minimalist design. The bright space is set with furniture that was designed and made especially for this project.

The flat was created as a place to relax. It is located in the picturesque town of Kamień Pomorski and is surrounded by history – the direct proximity to the town’s 14th-century defensive walls gives it a unique cultural dimension. There is an extremely impressive panorama of the Kamieński Lagoon, which delights from every perspective – whether from the living room, kitchen or bedroom. It is the combination of historical references and modern style that creates the unique atmosphere of this interior.

The new plan for the flat called for an extensive renovation, during which the focus was on the rawness and authenticity of natural materials. Wood, wool, linen and stone became the dominant accents – elements that bring warmth, naturalness and harmony to the space. A special role is played by the finishing plaster produced in Denmark, which gave the walls, ceilings and even the doors and fixed furniture elements a unique colour and texture, emphasising the modern character of the interior while respecting tradition.

The interior was carefully furnished with furniture and accessories designed by Loft Kolasinski. The original designs include a table, wardrobes, a bed, chests of drawers, as well as furniture for the kitchen and bathroom. Their delicate feature introduces a consistent, minimalist aesthetic to the interior. In the bathroom, steel joinery elements dominate, giving an industrial yet elegant feel to the room. In addition, the space is enhanced with a unique collection of furniture, lamps and accessories from leading Danish, French and Polish designers. Several carefully restored vintage furniture pieces, which have undergone carpentry and upholstery restoration, gave the arrangement a unique, sentimental touch.

The flat serves as a holiday and weekend retreat for the client, who comes from Kamień Pomorski. The well-thought-out interior design not only promotes everyday functionality, but also creates a comfortable space for relaxation and rest. The combination of rich historical layers, modern touches and natural materials creates a unique atmosphere in which every detail tells its own story.
