At PURO Kraków Stare Miasto, there is a venue that combines culinary freedom with refined design. The HINT restaurant, designed by Paradowski Studio, draws on the elegance of interwar cafés and the functionality of modernist interiors, creating a space where gatherings take on a unique character. It is a restaurant that blends naturally into the fabric of the city – open to both hotel guests and locals seeking an elegant yet relaxed place to spend time together.
When the interior tells a story
Whilst working on the restaurant’s interior design, the team of architects at Paradowski Studio reinterpreted the local heritage, drawing inspiration from Kraków’s interwar-era venues and modernist projects of the 1950s and 1960s. The result is a space where the elegance of old cafés meets contemporary craftsmanship. Natural materials – oak panelling, stone, Polish glass and ceramics – create a cohesive, timeless aesthetic.
The furniture and accessories gathered here are a treat for design enthusiasts. It’s worth noting the variety of textures and colours, which work beautifully together. We were particularly impressed by the wooden wall, which resembles a huge bas-relief. Its dynamic motifs bring to mind a meticulously crafted mosaic, made all the more interesting by the fact that it is composed of carefully selected panels. Interestingly, this wall conceals a door for the restaurant staff. Hidden from the guests’ view, it’s a brilliant solution. Importantly, the décor complements the food served on the plates.

Seasonal flavours
HINT offers modern interpretations of classic street food, based on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The menu is concise and well-thought-out, and every dish is bursting with fresh flavours. From Monday to Friday, the restaurant serves lunch, which changes according to the availability of local produce. It’s ideal for those who want to eat well and quickly, without compromising on quality. The menu also features wines and classic cocktails, designed with evening gatherings in mind. The morning hours are dedicated to breakfast – the bright interiors and views of the city streets make for an exceptionally pleasant start to the day.

HINT is a venue designed for gatherings that leave a lasting impression. The restaurant, available for exclusive hire, can accommodate up to 50 people, and when combined with the adjoining conference room, up to 66 guests. The bar offers a further 22 seats. The meticulous attention to detail, the cuisine and the hospitality all combine to create an atmosphere that is perfect for making lasting memories.
