Mokotów is a vibrant district of Warsaw. It is home to a flat that combines elegance, naturalness and the author’s design vision. The 171sqm, two-storey flat has undergone a comprehensive renovation, which has given the space a new identity – coherent, balanced and full of subtle details.
Studio Loft Kolasinski, responsible for the project, relied on materials that give the interior a timeless character. Wood, wool and linen dominate the furnishings, creating an atmosphere of warmth and authenticity. Wooden furniture and accessories, designed especially for this flat, harmonise with the steel joinery, also created in the Loft Kolasinski studio. The author’s creations include a chest of drawers, a library, a wardrobe, as well as bedroom, kitchen and bathroom furniture – all made with attention to detail and proportion.
The living room, which is the focal point of the flat, is decorated with a carpet from the Symmetry collection, designed by Loft Kolasinski for the Danish brand Massimo Copenhagen. It is an element that emphasises the individual character of the interior and is an expression of the cooperation between the Polish studio and the renowned manufacturer. The entire arrangement is complemented by furniture, lighting and accessories sourced mainly from Danish, Polish and Spanish creators, which gives the space an international but coherent dimension.
Particularly noteworthy is a rare armchair from the 1970s in a shade of deep red, which has undergone careful carpentry and upholstery renovation. This unique piece brings a touch of history and collector uniqueness to the interior, contrasting with the modern lines of the other furniture. The walls of the flat are decorated with the owners’ private collection of paintings, including works by Tomasz Sętowski and Leszek Rózga, which add an artistic dimension to the space and emphasise the individual character of the arrangement.

The Studio Loft Kolasinski project in Mokotow is an example of how, through the conscious use of natural materials, original furniture and art, it is possible to create an interior that not only responds to the needs of the inhabitants, but also tells their story. It is a flat where every detail builds a narrative of harmony between tradition and modernity. The original design furniture was made by WoodMaker and wood_effect.
