Caffeine Mood is located at 2 Weber Street in Bytom. Its new interior was designed by Oliwia Golis of Breath Design Studio. The designer opted for strong colours that allude to the aesthetics of the Memphis Group.
The interior of the Kofeina Mood café is a true manifesto of passion, creativity and attention to every last detail. Ewa Faszczewska, the owner of the establishment, decided to refresh the space along with the visual identity to make it an authentic reflection not only of the delicious speciality coffee, but also of the homemade pastries and breakfasts served throughout the day.
The café is located in the oldest building in Bytom in the city centre. It is easy to find here by walking around the local market square. You can enter directly from the street. The entire premises are about 60 sq m, of which the sales hall is about 26 sq m.
The original interior is decorated with graphic elements in various colours. They all blend in well with the black and white chequerboard pattern on the floor. The clever placement of these graphic elements was quite a challenge. Complemented by posters, they create a cosy atmosphere.
An important element of the interior is the old furniture and accessories. Restored vintage chairs and carefully selected furniture, found after browsing hundreds of websites, create the unique atmosphere of the café.
Oliwia Golis, owner of Breath Design Studio, is responsible for the comprehensive rebranding, including the full interior concept. Although she is not formally trained in interior design, her eight years of experience, passion and unique sense of aesthetics allowed her to create a functional yet visually refined space. Olivia’s holistic approach to building strong and cohesive brands – from marketing strategy, to managing social media, to designing advertising materials – ensured that every element of the rebrand is a thoughtful part of a larger whole.
