It has 60 sq m. The Krakow flat for the young couple was designed by Monika Rybicka of mo.studio. It is a bright interior, where functionality matters. The place is also an oasis of tranquillity, providing an opportunity to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The interior design was inspired by the boho style, loved by the owners for its casual character and natural accents. However, the designer used modern solutions – geometric lamps, minimalist furniture and subdued backgrounds – to subtly break up the rustic elements. References to Cracovian cafés are revealed in delicate details: ceramic cups placed on open shelves and soft fabrics, reminiscent of the upholstery of iconic tables from the Vistula river.

The focal point of the flat is the living room. The turntable standing on a vintage cabinet is not just a decoration, but the heart of daily rituals – from morning tea with jazz tunes to evening gatherings over vinyl albums. The natural wood with its warm texture and the lush vegetation create the impression of an intimate garden, where every moment becomes an opportunity to breathe and calm down. This was exactly the effect the clients wanted to achieve when they invited the architect to work on the interior of their flat.

The open layout of the living room seamlessly merges with the kitchen, designed to provide a neutral background for the colourful interior. The white fronts and smooth worktops are broken by wooden details – handles and shelves – which relate to the other areas of the flat. Composed in this way, the kitchen allows freedom of movement and the integration of guests, while not dominating the cosy atmosphere of the space.

The bathroom has become an intimate sanctuary with special attention to detail. Large mirrors with irregular contours optically enlarge the interior, and accessories made of the same warm wood as in the living room create a coherent combination of styles. Here, too, white dominates – the mirrors reflect the soft light and the natural accents emphasise simplicity and elegance.

The colour scheme of the entire flat is based on white as a base, which is warmed by reds and browns. These earthy tones envelop the space, giving it a cosy, homely feel. Together with a wealth of textures and natural materials, they have created an interior that is at once modern, vintage and boho – fully reflecting the owners’ dream of a private oasis in the heart of the city.
